Base Class: Bard
Bards from the College of the streets did not hone their skills in any sort of formal training; they fell in with rough crowds early, learning from buskers and fine-tuning their talents with their own ears. They learned to survive in a world where at any moment a quick-fingered passerby could steal their tip jar or a thug could hold them up for money in an alley. As such, they are tough and wily, resorting to skirmishing and dirty tactics to win the day.
Inspired Street Tactics
At 3rd level, when you use your Bardic Inspiration ability, you can choose to grant someone or yourself a number of Sneak attack dice instead of a Bardic inspiration die. These dice can be used all at once or spread out over multiple attacks. The dice must be used within the next 10 minutes, just as normal Inspiration. The number of Sneak Attack dice granted depends on your level:
|
Level |
Bonus Sneak Attack Dice |
|
1-4 |
+1d6 |
|
5-9 |
+2d6 |
|
10-14 |
+3d6 |
|
15-20 |
+4d6 |
These bonus Sneak Attack dice follow all the rules of a Rogue’s Sneak Attack ability. A creature can only have one bonus from this ability active at a time.
Busker's Freestyle
At 3rd level, by weaving your intent into your performance, you can attempt to persuade or deceive someone with it. If you perform for at least 1 minute while having the target’s attention, you can roll Performance in place of Deception or Persuasion. This ability cannot cause an effect that would be stronger than making a Persuasion or Deception check, but it can also be used to aid an ally that is performing a Persuasion or Deception check.
If your performance is interrupted or you lose the target’s attention, it fails. You can perform this action a number of times equal to your CHA modifier before a Long Rest.
Extra Attack
Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
Street Skirmisher
At 14th level, whenever you cast a spell of at least 1st level or higher that does not require concentration, you can move 15 feet as a bonus action.
