Base Class: Barbarian
Some barbarians fight for personal glory, some fight to respect their ancestors, and some fight for the sheer sake of fighting. Path of the Pack Barbarians learn to utilize their fury to protect those closest to them, whether by obliterating opposition outright or acting as an undeniable, harrying force.
Path of the Pack Barbarians are of a twin path: Champions of the barbarian image of uncouth, savage primitives with no regard for custom or decorum but tempering their brazen nature whilst exemplifying the nobility of the unchecked wilds, the grandeur and might of the places where life spreads healthy and unbound, as well the wisdom and wit of those that make these places their home
Pack-Leaders Mien
At 3rd level, you gain a beast companion that accompanies you on your adventures, a wild beast tamed either by might or strength of presence. Choose a beast no larger than Medium and that has a Challenge Rating of 1/4-1/2(See Below).
Add your proficiency bonus to a beasts AC, attack rolls and damage rolls, as well as any saving throws and skills it is proficient in. Its hit point maximum equals its normal maximum or 4 times your barbarian level, whichever is greater.
A beast obeys your orders the best it can and rolls initiative with your initiative bonus. On your turn, or as a reaction, you may make a Cha(Animal Handling) check to give your companion a command( Attack, Dash, Disengage, or Help), otherwise they act as an allied creature on their turn. Once you have the extra attack feature, you may make one weapon attack yourself when a beast makes an attack at a target within range, up to a limit of 4 times.
If a beast companion dies, you can obtain another one by bonding with another beast that isn't hostile to you over an 8 hour period, either the same kind of beast or a different one.
(Blink Dogs and Blink Wolves are included on this list at a maximum of two, of either combination.)
The Pack Grows
At 6th, and then 11th and 16th, you make take an additional companion. These additional companions must follow the same rules for selection of the first and the combined CR of these companions cannot exceed 1.
Might of the Wilderness
Starting at 10th level, when you command a beast companion to take the attack action, a beast can make two attacks or take the Multi-Attack action if it has that action. In addition, a beasts attacks count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical damage.
Mothers Will, Our Hands
Beginning at 14th level, when you rage, you may have your companions gain most of the benefits of your rage if a beast is within 30 feet of you. The DC of your companions Relentless Rage begins at 12 and recharges on a Long Rest.
