Base Class: Barbarian
While other barbarians become frantic and frenzied, those who follow the path of the Executioner kill with precision, and no remorse. They know the fastest way to the other side, and that is their blade. As you enter the blademan's rage you become judge, jury, and executioner, and none shall escape your judgement.
Those who tread this path may work with their local government, executing those found guilty of crimes. Others take the law into their own hands, hunting down undead and aberrations, and all others who bring evil into this world. The worst of all kill without reason, using their strength to leave a trail of blood in their wake.
Sense of Finality
Beginning at 3rd level, you can choose a victim and bring swift death to them. When you enter your rage, you mark an enemy you can see within 60ft of you. You know the location of your target if they are within 60 feet of you, regardless of cover. When moving towards your target, you can take the dash action as a bonus action. Additionally, you gain advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks to track your target as long as they are no further than 1 mile away from you. When your target is killed, you can move the mark to another enemy you can see within 60ft of you as a bonus action.
Blade's Judgement
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you are able to deliver the killing blow on a target with expert precision. Once per rage, on your turn, you may attempt to execute a target. On this turn you may only make one attack, regardless of features like extra attack or dual wielding. When you do so, if the attack hits, it is an automatic critical hit. If the damage from this strike reduces the target's hit points to less than your Barbarian level + your Strength modifier, the target is instantly slain, and your rage ends. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining expended uses on a long rest.
Final Moments
At 10th level, your merciless killings awaken the feeling of mortality within your targets. When you successfully execute a creature with your Blade's Judgement, you may choose one creature within 30ft. as your next target. If the creature can see or hear you, it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or be stunned with a sense of dread until the end of your next turn. While a creature is stunned in this way, you gain the extra movement benefit from your Sense of Finality feature with it as your target.
If the creature succeeds on its saving throw, you can’t use this feature on that creature again for 24 hours.
Living Guillotine
Starting at 14th level, you learn to unleash the murderous desire within you, and revel in the blood you spill. Your Blade's Judgement feature is no longer limited to one use per rage, and sucessful executions with it no longer ends your rage. Additionally, you gain temporary hit points equal to half the damage dealt when you execute a creature.
