Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Wraithriders are the fearsome chosen warriors of Devils, Demons and Deities.  While formidable on their own, their infamy can be traced back to legends about holy wars and large scale battles. During these wars they were used to great effect in heavy cavalry regiments, and mention of their name would strike fear into soldiers long after the peace had been established.

Wraithriders tend to make pacts with Devils, Demons and Deities of the War, Tempest or Death domain. Though it is not unheard of for one to have a patron of different origin.

Expanded Spell List

The Wraithrider gives you an expanded list of spells when you gain a higher pact slot level. Additional spells are added to your spell list for you.

If you have access to Xanathars guide of everything, you can substitute freedom of movement for find greater steed

Cataphract

A great warrior clad in flaming armor tramples their foes underfoot. A knight in gleaming golden plate charges valiantly into the fray. You can choose what your Cataphract armor looks like whenever you summon it.

The power gifted to you allows you to protect yourself against incoming attacks. As a reaction when combat starts, or a bonus action when in combat, you can channel your energy into a protective shell around you to gain a +2 bonus to AC. This lasts until the end of combat, or until you lose consciousness.

Mounted Warrior

At 1st level, you acquire the training necessary to effectively arm yourself for battle. You gain proficiency with animal handling, shields, and martial weapons.

The influence of your patron also allows you to mystically channel your will through a particular weapon. Whenever you finish a long rest, you can touch one weapon that you are proficient with and that lacks the two-handed property. When you attack with that weapon, you can use your Charisma modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls. This benefit lasts until you finish a long rest. If you later gain the Pact of the Blade feature, this benefit extends to every pact weapon you conjure with that feature, no matter the weapon’s type.

Rocade

Starting at 6th level, you have enough battlefield experience to perform feats of great maneuverability. As a bonus action, you and a willing ally up to 20 feet away can swap positions, as long as you have a line of sight unobstructed by full cover or creatures. When this places you within melee reach of an enemy, you may make a single weapon attack at disadvantage against that creature as part of the same bonus action.

Aditionally, the casting times of the find steed and find greater steed are reduced to an action for you.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Hex Warrior

You are able to use your Charisma modifier instead of your Strength or Dexterity when making attacks with your hex weapon.

Heavy Cavalry

Starting at 10th level, your mount gains bonus hit points equal to your warlock level + your Charisma modifier and the effects of spells you cast on yourself also apply to your mount and vice versa. Aditionally, you do not suffer any penalties attacking enemies adjacent to your mount.

Glorious Charge

Starting at 14th level you can perform a Glorious Charge. You can move up to twice your speed, as if taking the dash action. During the movement you do not provoke opportunity attacks and you can make an attack against every enemy, up to your proficiency modifier, you pass by within your reach. Passing by the same enemy twice does not grant an additional attack.

If you pass through an enemy's space you knock them prone and push them aside to the nearest unoccupied space as they avoid being trampled underfoot.

While mounted, you move up to twice the speed of your mount.

When using a bow, you only gain benefits of this feature while mounted and you can make the attacks only when the target is within 10 feet of your mount.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
