Base Class: Rogue
Founded by a former member of the infamous Treasure Trackers, the Trovers originated a short time after the Treasure Trackers discovered that the mythical stones, the Edelstein, were in fact real. The Founder knew the dangers of what could happen should all seven Edelstein fall into the hands of certain members of the Treasure Trackers. Knowing it would be impossible to coordinate a purge without suffering heavy penalties from the higher-ups, the Founder resorted to the next best thing; breaking off from the Treasure Trackers and stealing the device known as 'The Seeker', which was capable of locating the different pieces of Edelstein. Thus began the story of the Trovers.
Eye for Detail
Starting at 3rd level, you can use a bonus action to make a Wisdom (Perception) check to spot a hidden creature or object or to make an Intelligence (Investigation) check to uncover or decipher clues.
Fast Hands
Starting at 3rd level, you can use the bonus action granted by your Cunning Action to make a Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) check, use your thieves’ tools to disarm a trap or open a lock, or take the Use an Object action.
Specialized Subdue
When you reach 9th level, when you successfully defeat a creature, you may always choose whether to kill or disable it, no matter what means you used to do so. When your quarry is defeated non-lethally, it suffers disadvantage on any ability score checks made to escape from bindings placed by this ability.
Thief's Reflexes
When you reach 13th level, you have become adept at laying ambushes and quickly escaping danger. You can take two turns during the first round of any combat. You take your first turn at your normal initiative and your second turn at your initiative minus 10. You can’t use this feature when you are surprised.
Tactical Genius
When you reach 17th level, you can turn the tide of battle in a single stroke. As a bonus action, you can give a series of inspired orders to a number of creatures equal to your Intelligence modifier within 60 feet. Each creature can immediately use its reaction to move up to its speed, without provoking opportunity attacks, and take an action. This action can only be used to Attack (one weapon attack only), Dodge, Hide, or Use an Object. Once you've used this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
