Bard
Base Class: Bard

This college is based around those bards who forego singing songs and telling tales of mere adventurers, trading the service of spreading a powerful being's message in exchange for ancient and strange magical abilities that are sure to make their performances more exciting.

Choose what powerful being you have made this deal with- Whether it's a demon, an extra dimensional being, a divine creature, whatever or whoever you think your bard would have struck this deal with. Alongside this, you gain access to the warlock spell list.

Spectral Instrument

Upon making this pact, your patron grants you the ability to summon a spectral instrument of your choosing from the list of instruments you are proficient in. You can summon and send this instrument to a pocket dimension or other plane at will.

With this instrument, as a bonus action, you can play a song that musically embodies what your patron represents. You expend one use of bardic inspiration to make a wielded melee weapon (or their hand in the case of an unarmed attack) of 1 ally you see within 60 feet into a magical weapon that lasts for either 10 minutes or until they use the magical charge. Additionally, when a weapon is made magical in this way, they can add a number determined by a roll of your bardic inspiration die to their damage roll- the extra damage done by this die is counted as force damage.

(level 3)

Ancient Melodies

Your patron has found your songs and stories entertaining and has granted you powerful music, long forgotten by time. You can play one of 3 songs as an action:

- Ancient Lullaby: You play your instrument calmly and softly, imbuing your song with your patron's power. Up to 2 targets that you can see must make a Wisdom save against your spell save dc or be put to sleep. This song ignores any traits, effects, resistances, or spells that prevent magically being put to sleep. This effect lasts for 1 minute or until the target/targets  succeeds on another Wisdom save.

- Ancient Dirge: You play a song that incurs a feeling of mortality in your enemies. Choose 2 targets you can see and play the song. They must make an intelligence saving throw equal to your spell save DC or become frightened of you. This song ignores any traits, effects, resistances, or spells that prevent being frightened.

- Ancient Bolero: You play a slow classical piece that others find entertaining. Choose 2 targets you can see. They must make a Wisdom Saving throw equal to your spell save DC or be charmed. This song ignores any traits, effects, resistances, or spells that prevent being charmed.

You have 3 uses of this ability before needing to take a long rest.

 (level 6)

Eldritch Symphony

Your patron has seen your musical prowess and has gifted you with an orchestral piece from ancient times. When you play this song, you summon 1d4 spectral musicians in an unoccupied space within 30 feet, which you then roll initiative for with no initiative bonus. You can pick which musicians you have in your symphony when they are summoned from the following:

-Percussion: These musicians play some sort of large drum. On it's turn, it will play it's drum loudly, dealing 5 damage to any enemies within 10 feet. Additionally, enemies must make a Strength saving throw equal to your spell save DC or be knocked back 10 feet.

-Melody: These musicians play violins, horns, etc. On their turn, they will play an inspiring melody, granting a bonus equal to your charisma modifier to you or your allies attack rolls, but only if they make that roll within 5 feet of the musician. this effect does not stack over multiple turns, however it does stack if you or an ally are within range of multiple melody musicians (i.e. charisma modifier of +2, within range of 2 melody musicians using their ability, giving you a +4).

-Bass: These musicians play large, lower toned instruments. On their turn, they play their instrument and grant advantage on all saving throws you or your allies make.

This ability lasts for 10 minutes or until you dispel it. You must then finish a long rest before you can use this ability again.
