Path of the Hero

All Barbarians utilize their rage in different ways. This particular class of Barbarian chooses to use a deadly, controlled rage in place of a mindless fury, choosing precision over power. They need not display their strength with overwhelming ferocity, but rather with cold, calculated strikes and similarly unyielding resolve. The Hero's rage means using pinpoint strikes to utterly crush an enemy while only partially giving into the rage that consumes others of different paths.

Warrior's Education

When you choose this path at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in one of the following skills of your choice: History, Insight, or Persuasion.

Furious Precision

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, whenever you use your Reckless Attack feature on one or multiple of your attacks, you may use a free action before your first attack to not be affected by attack rolls having advantage against you until your next turn. You can use this feature twice, increasing to 3 times at 10th level and 4 times at 14th level.

You regain all expended uses of it when you finish a short rest.

Anchor of Temperance

Your focused Rage keeps you centered during dangerous situations. Starting at 6th level, whenever you are made to roll a saving throw, you may choose beforehand to use your Strength or Constitution saving throw modifier instead beforehand (your choice).

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short rest.

Unleash Fury

At 10th level, You may choose to momentarily let loose, dropping the calm facade for a few intense strikes. As a bonus action, you may use this feature while you are currently raging before you make an attack. If the attack hits, it is automatically a critical hit. Immediately after using this feature, you gain 1 point of exhaustion.

Everlasting Warrior

Your quiet fury knows no bounds, keeping you always on your feet. At 14th level, Whenever you use your Furious Precision feature, you may subtract 5 from the DC required to use Relentless Rage. The DC cannot go below 5.
