Oath of the Queen (wip)

The oath of the Queen's Navy is taken by all royal navy officers and marines.

To serve: You will follow all lawful orders to the best of your ability

To protect: You are willing and able to give all to protect the Queen, the Nation, and Your comrades

No one left behind: You will not abandon a fallen or injured comrade

These are the words spoken by the truest warriors on the seas. The paladins who take this oath value leadership and empowering their allies.

 

Oath Spells

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Oath of the Crown Spells

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following Channel Divinity options.

Queen's Guard. As a reaction when a creature other than yourself is the target of an attack or spell, you may attempt to force them to miss. The creature must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the attack misses or the spell is expended with no effects. On a successful save you become the target of the attack or spell.

Rally the Troops. As a bonus action, you can bolster injured creatures with your Channel Divinity. Each creature of your choice that can hear you within 30 feet of you regains hit points equal to 1d6 + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1), if it has no more than a quarter of its hit points it regains 3d6 instead.

The Queen's Finest

Starting when you take this Oath you gain proficiency with tinker's tools which you can use to craft and repair firearms and ammunition. You also become proficient with all firearms.

Divine smite is transformed into Divine snipe, when you hit a creature with a range weapon attack, you can expend one spell slot to deal radiant damage to the target, in addition to the weapon’s damage. The extra damage is 2d8 for a 1st-level spell slot, plus 1d8 for each spell level higher than 1st, to a maximum of 5d8. The damage increases by 1d8 if the target is an undead or a fiend, to a maximum of 6d8.

Divine snipe

Starting when you take this oath, when you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack, you can expend one spell slot to deal radiant damage to the target, in addition to the weapon’s damage. The extra damage is 2d8 for a 1st-level spell slot, plus 1d8 for each spell level higher than 1st, to a maximum of 5d8. The damage increases by 1d8 if the target is an undead or a fiend, to a maximum of 6d8.

Unwavering Leadership

Starting at 7th level, you have learned to be a leader in its truest sense, at the beginning of each of your turns you grant 5 temporary hit points to all friendly and willing creatures within 5 ft. 

At level 18 increase temp hit points to 10 and range to 30 ft

Fight On

You have trained your mind and body to the point you can take fatal damage and keep fighting.

Once per long rest if you fall to 0 hit points you can remain conscious for an additional round, you are prone but can still take all your actions has normal.

You may choose to keep fighting past your wounds causing you to fail a saving throw and gain a point of exhaustion after combat ends, you can choose to does 2 additional times.

If you choose to use all three extra rounds at the end of your final round you die

Hold the Line

You can use your action to gain the following benefits for 1 minute

• Your allies have advantage on death saving throws while within 30 feet of you.
• Your allies have advantage on attack rolls while within 30 feet of you.
• Your allies can critically strike on 19 or 20
• Your allies heal for 5 hit points at the start of their turn
• Your allies gain plus 1 to their ac

This effect ends early if you are incapacitated or die. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest or expend a 5th level spell slot.
