College of Dances

Rather than using the power of song in your performances, you have mastered the art of dance and its magic. With flourish and grace, you dance across the battlefield, inspiring your allies and slashing your enemies in but a single movement; with a silent step, you demand the attention of all.

College of Dances bards excel at inspiring their party while still managing to deal both melee and magical damage effectively.

Spelldancing

At 3rd level, you have learned to control the aspects of magic with somatic power. Whenever you cast a spell that contains verbal or costless material components, they are replaced with a sole somatic component.

Dance of Inspiration

At 3rd level, as a bonus action, you begin your dance. Roll a bardic inspiration die; creatures of your choosing within 15 ft. of you may add the value to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw it makes. Each turn after dancing, you may again use your bonus action to continue the dance without expending your bardic inspiration. For each turn the dance is continued, the value of the initial roll reduces by one. You must maintain concentration while using this skill.

In addition, any concentration check you make may be rolled using your Charisma modifier rather than your Constitution modifier.

At 14th level, the range increases from 15 ft. to 30 ft.

Weapons Dancing

At 6th level, you have learned to blend the power of dance with the flow of combat--turning sabers and spears into your ribbons and fans.

Whenever you take the Dance of Inspiration bonus action during your turn, you may make an attack action twice during your turn. In addition, you may use your reaction to impose disadvantage on opportunity attacks made against you.

Ferocious Dance

At 14th level, as a bonus action, you begin your dance. Roll one bardic inspiration die--the value of that die may be added to any attack roll and damage roll you make while you dance. Each turn after dancing, you may again use your bonus action to continue the dance without expending your bardic inspiration. For each turn the dance is continued, the value of the initial roll reduces by one. You must maintain concentration while using this skill.

You also gain the benefits of Weapons Dancing while using this skill.
