Base Class: Monk
It takes no great wisdom to understand the danger of being caught off guard in unfamiliar environments, but to manifest a defence against this requires a greater wisdom than most possess. A monk of the folded sanctuary can focus their will and manifest a folded space that is familiar to them. Like a dream space, this folded sanctuary is a manifestation of the subconscious, but from a subconscious mind honed for this purpose, to use it to their benefit. Newly trained monks of this discipline often use this space as a short reactive safe space to regroup, re-plan or wait out a brief assault. As their mastery of themselves improves, they may start pulling enemies into their space, gaining a "home turf advantage" over their opponent, and the greatest monks may even prolong the time they can maintain their folded space.
Folded Sanctuary
3rd-level Way of the Itinerant Sanctuary feature
You manifest an area of folded space which you can access like moving from one room to another. Once per short rest, you can create a demiplane that yourself and up to 10 willing creatures instantly travel to, which lasts for 1 minute. The area within the demiplane must fit within a 30 to 90 foot cube and comfortably hold any creature that enters the space. Nothing created within the plane can be moved. Upon the duration of the plane ending, all creatures and any objects that were brought into the plane appear within 15 feet of you. A creature that voluntarily entered the plane can voluntarily leave before the duration ends. If a creature within the plane falls more than 20 feet, they must make a charisma saving throw against your Ki save DC or be forcefully ejected from the plane, like falling in a dream.
This demiplane is personal to you and hold special value, you can determine it's design whenever you create it, you can design the plane as anything or you can determine it randomly by rolling on the sanctuary table.

Lair of the monk
17th-level Way of The Folded Sanctuary feature
When you choose to forcefully pull a creature into your demiplane, you can expend a number of Ki points equal to the difference of their CR over your level (minimum of 2) to instead not allow them to make a save.
Additionally, if a creature within your demiplane has lair actions, you may choose how these happen instead of them.
