Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Tabaxi learn to use their speed and stealth to take down prey with their unarmed strikes or claws. They are very mobile and quick to react. This form might also be called The Way of the Cat or the Way of the Tiger depending on setting.
Cat's Prey
Fight or Flight. At 3rd level when you hit a creature with your flurry of blows attack you mark it as your prey. When that creature misses you with an attack you can use your reaction to make a claw attack or move half your speed. You can only mark one creature as a prey and this lasts until you take a short or long rest. You have advantage on survival checks made to track your prey.
Cats Speed. Your speed increases by 10 points.
Cat's Stalking
At 6th level you gain skill in stalking and then striking your prey.
Stalker. You gain proficiency in stealth. If you already have stealth you become an expert (You double the proficiency bonus from your stealth rolls).
Cat’s Pounce. At 6th level if you move at least 15 feet in a straight line at an opponent and end in their square the target must succeed a strength save (DC 10+ your strength) or be knocked prone. If you fail, you land prone in an adjacent square to target. You can spend 2 ki points to give your opponent disadvantage. If you were hidden before this attack, 15 feet of your movement does not reveal you.
Cat's Grace
At 11th level you have learned to react quickly and recover.
Cats Reflexes. You’ve honed your awareness and reflexes through mental aptitude and pattern recognition. Once per turn, if you’ve already taken your reaction, you may spend 1 ki point to take an additional reaction. You can use only one reaction per triggering effect.
Quick Recovery. When you’re prone, you can stand up by spending 5 feet of movement, rather than half your speed.
Cat's Strike
At 17th level, your mastery of claws or unarmed attacks gives you extraordinary accuracy and your speed increases.
Claw mastery. If you miss with an attack roll using unarmed attack or claw, you can reroll it. You can use this feature only once on each of your turns.
Rend. If you hit with two claw attacks in one round, you may rend your opponent for an additional 2d6 damage.
Cat’s Speed. Your speed increases by 10 points.
