Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Those who study metamagic dedicate themselves to understanding the way a mind imposes itself on reality through magic. While they lack the intuitive ability to manipulate magic like a sorcerer, they can, with some practice, replicate effects through applied formula.

Intense Study

Beginning when you select this option at level two, you may only learn one wizard spell per free per level. All gold and time costs to copy a spell into your spellbook double.

Metamagic Formula

Starting at second level, you gain one metamagic option from the sorcery class. You gain another at levels 5, 10, and 17.  All references to charisma in their text are changed to intelligence. You may not take quickened spell as a metamagic option.

Your sorcery points are zero, unless you have a way of increasing them through another class, feat, feature, or item.

When you would cast a spell, you may delay its effects as you modify the spell's formula on the fly. It consumes the normal time required, and then the spell is cast as a free action at any point in your next turn, unless you are incapacitated or you choose to cancel it, or delay it for another turn. If a spell is delayed through this feature, you cannot use this feature to cast additional spells until no spells are being delayed by this feature. If the spell slot is unavailable for any reason, the spell fails.

If you suffer damage between spending the time and the spell being cast, you must roll a concentration check, and the casting is lost on a failure, but the spell slot is not consumed.

Immediately before a spell is cast through this feature, you gain one sorcery point in your sorcery pool. If it isnt used,  it is lost immediately after the spell has been cast.

Dispersed Mind

Starting at sixth level, immediately before a spell is cast through metamagic formula, you gain one sorcery point in your sorcery pool if you haven't moved or been moved since the start of your last turn. If it isn't used,  it is lost immediately after the spell has been cast.

Jamais Vu

Starting at tenth level, the nature of your spellcasting appears entirely novel, even if a creature entirely understands the spell on a rote level. Your spells count as one level higher whenever interacting with another spell unless you choose to suppress the effect for the entire interaction. The first time dispel magic is successfully used on one of your spells, it does not end the effect. Spells that could disrupt your magic that would roll with advantage roll with disadvantage instead, and any added dice instead subtract from the result.

Whenever one of  your spells interacts with another spell, it causes surreal, conspicuous, and harmless signs, such as dandelions blooming in a fractal pattern in the area, birds nearby suddenly singing in unison, or the patterns and colors of people's clothing changing, unless you choose to suppress this effect.

Derealization

Starting at fourteenth level,  double any sorcery points you gain from this subclass' features. All unspent sorcery points gained this way are immediately lost after the spell is cast.

You may apply multiple metamagic effects to your spells delayed through metamagic formula

Add +7 to checks including passive checks) to notice the strange effects created by Jamais vu, and if they are noticed, it is immediately recognizable to you as an effect of Jamais vu
