Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

The term Wandslinger refers to any individual who can cast even the simplest of cantrips. If a wizard specializes in the Wandslinger Tradition, they're an individual who would rather than focus on casting cantrips, and the use of different arcane focuses, rather than specializing in a single school of magic. This allows Wandslingers to be a versatile caster who always has the capability casting spells while leaving their casters feeling limited to casting spells that take a toll on their mana.

Cantrip Specialist

2nd-level Wandslinger feature

You learn two cantrips from the wizard spell list. These cantrips doesn't count against your number of cantrips known.

Wandslinger's Focus

2nd-level Wandslinger feature

You've gained the ability to imbue an arcane focus with your magic. You can spend 1 hour to empower an arcane focus, turning it into an Wandslinger's Focus. When you create a Wandslinger's Focus or you finish a long rest, you can choose a 1st-level spell from your spellbook to infuse into your Wandslinger's Focus. The focus has a number of charges equal to your proficiency bonus. As an action, expend 1 or more charges to cast the chosen spell. You can increase the spell slot level by one for each additional charge you expend. You can only create one Wandslinger's focus per long rest, and if you create a new Wandslinger's Focus, the previous one is no longer empowered by your magic.

You are also adept at crafting certain arcane spellcasting focuses, which are described in the Adventuring Gear section of the Player's Handbook. The gold and time you must spend to make an arcane focus is halved.

Fluid Casting

6th-level Wandslinger feature

When you use your action to cast a cantrip, you can cast a different cantrip with a casting time of 1 action as a bonus action.

Focus Recovery

10th-level Wandslinger feature

Once per day when you finish a short or long rest, choose one arcane focus that has charges, the item regains a charges of charges equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum of one).

You also ignore all class, race, and level requirements on attuning to or using a magic item that can be used as an arcane focus.

Rapid Spellcasting

14th-level Wandslinger feature

You can cast spells in rapid succession using the momentum from other spells. When you expend a spell slot to cast a spell of 1st level or higher as an action, you can cast a cantrip with a casting time of 1 action as a bonus action.
