Base Class: Druid
While most druids form a connection to the natural world, some choose a more unnatural route. These druids combine the natural with the arcane, interested in the creatures created not by nature but by the perversion of it. Reveling in the monstrous, druids of this circle embrace change and the weirdness of nature beset by magic, changing themselves in the process.
Combat Wildshape
When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you gain the ability to use Wild Shape on your turn as a bonus action, rather than as an action.
Additionally, while you are transformed by Wild Shape, you can use a bonus action to expend one spell slot to regain 1d8 hit points per level of the spell slot expended.
Monstrous Form
The rites of your circle grant you the ability to transform into more dangerous forms. Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into a monstrosity with a challenge rating as high as 1 (you ignore the Max. CR column of the Beast Shapes table, but must abide by the other limitations there). In order to transform into a monstrosity, it must have an Intelligence score of 6 or lower.
2nd Level
You can transform into beasts and monstrosities up to CR 1.
4th Level
You can now transform into beasts and monstrosities with swimming speeds.
8th Level
You can now transform into beasts and monstrosities with a fly speed.
Friend of Monsters
Your knowledge on the monstrous creatures of this world grants you advantage on Intelligence checks to know about monstrosities.
Primal Strikes
Starting at 6th level, your attacks in wild shape count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Greater Monstrous Forms
Starting at 6th level and every 3 levels after, you are able to use your Wild Shape to transform into much more powerful monstrous forms according to the Greater Monstrous Forms table.

Mutable Form
Your connection to monstrosities has given you the ability to visibly change your natural body in certain ways. Starting at 10th level, you can use your action to change your body in one of the ways listed below. This change lasts until you take a short or long rest or use this feature again.
- Amphibious - You cause gills to grow either on your neck or torso, allowing you to breathe both air and water. Additionally, you gain a swim speed equal to your walking speed.
- Enhanced Senses - Your eyes become blackened and you gain blindsight out to a range of 20 ft. as well as advantage on Perception checks that rely on hearing.
- Mutable Limbs - One of your arms becomes an amorphous pseudopod, giving you a reach of 15 ft. (this reach does not apply to weapons that require 2 hands to use). The pseudopod can also be used as a natural weapon that you are proficient with, dealing 1d8 bludgeoning damage on a hit.
- Spider Climb - Your skin becomes covered in a chitinous texture. You gain the ability to climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Frightful Presence
At 14th level you gain the ability to instill fear in those who see you. As an action, you can reveal your monstrous nature and cause all creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you that can see you to make a Wisdom saving throw against your druid spellcasting DC. Any creature that fails is frightened of you for 1 minute. An affected creature may repeat this saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the effect on a success. Any creature that succeeds on a saving throw against this ability is immune to this ability for 24 hours.
