Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Many paths have led individuals to the way of the Necro Knight. These usually come in the form of a deep yearning for vengeance, a forsaken oath, or a pact made with a dark entity. The one thing that unites them all is a cursed weapon bestowed upon them that slowly corrupts the individual, twisting their hearts and minds toward its own purpose. This corruption spreads quickly, but the power this weapon grants is often too promising to let go of. For those who do not find a way to break this sickly bond, they often find themselves a twisted shell of their former lives.

Necroblade

3rd Level
A corruption begins to spread within the Necro Knight, either from the acquisition of a cursed blade or from the corruption of their current weapon. The Necroblade is added to their character's inventory and is immediately equipped, replacing their current weapon.

Necrotic Strike

Once per combat, you may apply the amount of hit points reduced by the Necroblade feature as bonus necrotic damage to an attack after it hits.

Necrotic Shroud

6th Level
The Necro Knight is able to briefly shroud themselves in necrotic energy against incoming damage. Once per combat, you may absorb an amount of damage taken in a single attack up to the amount of hit points reduced from the Necroblade feature.

Necrotic Servant

Once per long rest, the Necro Knight is able to summon either a zombie or a skeleton to fight for them, using the appropriate stats. However, the hit points of this summoned creature are equal to the hit points reduced from the Necroblade feature. The summoned creature lasts for one hour or until destroyed.

Necrosis

10th Level
You are able to extend your necrotic presence into the form of another. Once per combat, you may make an unarmed melee attack toward a creature. Upon a successful hit, the target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes necrotic damage equal to the number of hit points reduced from the Necroblade feature. On a successful save, the target takes damage equal to half the hit points reduced.

Necrotic Evasion

14th Level
Once per combat, when an attack misses you, you may use your reaction to teleport up to 30 feet. If this would put you in melee range with the attacker, you may make an opportunity attack against them.

Necrotic Renewal

Your body has now become fully corrupted by the necrotic energies of your cursed blade. Whenever you deal the killing blow to any creature, you gain hit points equal to the amount of hit points reduced by the Necroblade feature.
