Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

While all scoundrels and rogues do their work from the shadows, there are those who learn to tap into the magical power of the shadowfell to manipulate the shadows to their will. This minor affinity to magic enhances their capability of going unnoticed and blinding their enemies senses.

Shadow Strike

Starting at 3rd level, your sneak attacks draw power from the shadows around you. You can choose to have your sneak attack deal necrotic damage when you hit a creature instead of the weapon damage type. When you deal necrotic damage to a creature, it has disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks to see you until the end of its next turn.

Clinging Shadows

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you are able to hide in dim light or darkness even if you are only lightly obscured. Creatures have disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks against your Dexterity (Stealth) check while you are hidden in dim light or darkness.

Summon Darkness

Starting at 9th level, you are able to create your own darkness. You can cast darkness, darkvision, and pass without trace without providing material components.

You can cast each spell once. You must finish a long rest before you can do so again.

Silent Shade

At 13th level, your movements have become completely silent. While in dim light or darkness you make no audible noise and are not detectable by the special senses of blindsight or tremorsense.

Dark Blade

Starting at 17th level, your attacks use the shadows to drain a creature's strength. Whenever you deal necrotic damage to a creature, it has to succeed a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus) or have disadvantage on all ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws until the end of its next turn.
