College of Fame

Lights. Camera. Action. Bards of the college of fame are intensely well-known and popular. This fame, or infamy, is wielded by those who use it for influence over others. Enthralling performances, daring stunts, or profound proverbs. These bards might simply be famous because who they are, or they may have earned their status because what they've achieved.

Winning Smile

3rd-level College of Fame feature

You are a master at saying the right thing at the right time. When you make a Charisma (Performance) or Charisma (Intimidation) check, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.

Tech Savvy

3rd-level College of Fame feature

Your fame has a hold on both the analog and digital. You learn the on/off cantrip, which doesn’t count against the number of bard cantrips you know. For you, it has a range of 120 feet when you cast it.

Inspiration by Association

6th-level College of Fame feature

Your notoriety has an infectious trait, sharing it with others becomes second nature. When a creature, within 10 feet, would normally roll one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to add it to a Charisma ability check, they may instead use the highest number possible for the die.

Universal Appeal

6th-level College of Fame feature

You have become a truly household name. Your Charisma score increases by 2. Your maximum Charisma score is now 22.

Leading Role

14th-level College of Fame feature

When you successfully inspire someone, their success feeds your own award-worthy performance. When a creature within 30 feet of you adds one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to its ability check, attack roll, or saving throw and the roll succeeds, you can use your reaction to gain the following benefits for 1 minute:

• When you make a Charisma (Deception), a Charisma (Performance), or a Charisma (Persuasion) check, you can roll one of your Bardic Inspiration die, without expending a use.
• If you fail a saving throw, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to reroll it. You must use this new roll.

Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
