Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

You are descended from a Phoenix in some way

Arcane Knowledge

As a Descendent of a Phoenix, you have an inherent knowledge of the arcane. You gain proficiency in Arcana.  Once you hit fifth level in this class, you gain the ability to identify the properties of a non-cursed item you hold; you must still identify a cursed item as normal to correctly identify it as cursed as if casting the Identify spell. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Charisma Modifier per Long Rest

Healing Flames

When casting any spell of first level or higher that deals fire damage, you can instead heal your targets. The spell deals no damage, and living creatures affected by the spell instead regain a number of hit points equal to half the fire damage the spell would normally deal. You are able to use this feature a number of times per short rest equal to your proficiency bonus.

Phoenix Spells

You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

Restoring Flames

At 6th level, you gain the ability to bring another back from the brink of death. You are able to cast the spell Revivify without expending any material components. Once you have done so, roll 1d4, you are unable to use this feature for that many days.

Vermillion Wings

At 14th level, you gain the ability to grow a pair of phoenix wings from your back as an action, granting you a fly speed equal to 30ft. These wings last until you dismiss them as a bonus action. Any clothes not altered to accommodate these wings is destroyed when they are summoned.

Rebirth

At 18th level, the full power of a Phoenix erupts forth from you if you perish. If you drop to 0hp, at the start of your turn, instead of rolling death saves, everyone within 30ft of you must make a Dexterity Saving throw. Each creature who fails takes 8d6 fire damage and is knocked prone, or half damage on a successful save and isn’t proned. You regain a number of hit points equal to the total damage dealt, and are no longer proned. Then roll a d4. You cannot use this feature for a number of days equal to the roll of this dice
