Base Class: Sorcerer
For one reason or another, you possess the ability to cast spells yet cannot generate your own magic. Through careful mastery and understanding of spell casting, or by sheer accident, you have crafted a method of siphoning spells from other mages.
Magic Siphon
At level 1, Your gateway to spells. You sap the magic from other mages and spell casters. As a bonus action, touch a creature and gain their cantrips and spells equal to your spellcasting level.
Cantrips retain their unlimited use trait but cannot be consumed or effected by Magical Upgrade unless specified.
Your spells don't use spell slots, but are single use, and are removed from your spell list upon being cast.
Using Magic Siphon replaces all current spells and cantrips.
Range increases by 5ft every 2 levels past level 1.
Magic Siphon can't be used on same creature within 1 minute (10 rounds).
Magical Upgrade
At level 6, You begin to understand magic more and have learnt how to manipulate the structure of spells.
As a bonus action, consume a spell, removing it from you spell list.
The next spell you cast will have upgraded effects.
Refer to the Upgrade Index for the changes that Magical Upgrade makes. (pending)
Spell Storage
at level 14, After siphoning the magic from many mages, your body has become accustomed to a wide array of magic.
Magic Siphon can now stores two batches of spells, only overwriting the oldest batch of spells acquired.
Magic Siphon can now be used as a reaction.
Magical Upgrade can also effect cantrips, but they cannot consume them.
Amplified Magic
At level 18, Exposing yourself to such a vast amount of magic has caused your body to amplify the very structure of spells you hold.
Any spell that you have stored will be effected by Magical Upgrade.
Magical Upgrade can be used to further boost your next spell cast.
