Base Class: Monk
Internal Storm
The ki that flows through your body has become electric. At 3rd level, when you choose this Monastic Traditions, you gain the following enhancements to your Martial Arts:
- Electric Dash. When you use your Step of the Wind to dash you are capable of moving through opponent's spaces dealing Lighting Damage equivalent to your Martial Arts dice to each opponent you move through. You can only deal damage to each opponent in this way once per turn.
- Lighting Reflexes. While you're using Patient Defense, if an enemy within 5ft. of you makes a melee attack against you, you may use your reaction to make Unarmed Strike against them.
- Rain of Lighting. When you successfully make an attack with Flurry of Blows, you can choose your unarmed strikes to deal Lightning Damage or Thunder Damage instead of Bludgeoning Damage.
Thunder Pulse
At 6th level you become attuned to both thunder and lightning. When you use your Stunning Strike, you may expend an additional 1 ki point to give your opponent disadvantage on their saving throw. As part of this attack your release a 15ft. pulse of thunder originating from yourself. Any opponent in range must make a Constitution save. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d8 thunder damage and is pushed 10 feet away from you. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and isn't pushed . The creature effected by Stunning Strike does not takes this damage.
Lighting Strike
At 11th level, as an action, you can expend 3 ki points Lightning Bolt without providing material components. You may spend additional damage die to increase the damage to a limit 10d6 (5 ki).
Fulmination
At 17th level, your body is a battery and conduit for lightning. You feel it rushing through your veins at any given moment. You are capable of unleashing the full potential of your strength as bonus action by expending 5 ki points and undergoing a transformation as your body becomes shrouded with electricity:
- You gain the benefits of your Step of The Wind and Electric Dash for the duration.
- You gain an additional attack.
- You gain a flight speed equal to your movement speed.
- If an opponent starts their turn withing 5ft. of you they take Lightning Damage equal half your monk level rounded down.
This transformation lasts a minute. After it is complete, you gain on point of exhaustion. You regain this ability after a long rest.
