Channel Divinity
Channel Divinity: When you take this Oath at 3rd Level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Runic Blade: You imbue a runic curse to your currently equipped weapon ( if you wield no weapons you summon a Runic Longsword with which you are proficient in) and this effect remains for up to 1 hour or until you dispel it. This feature can be used as many times as 1/2 your paladin level (rounded down) plus your PB. This blade is considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances and immunities and deals an extra 1d8 Necrotic damage to all creatures except undead. Against undead it instead does an additional 2d8 Radiant damage.
Seize Undeath: As a BA you may force one undead creature that you can see within 30 feet of you to make a weapon or spell attack against a creature of your choice within range. The target must make a CR equal to or under half your Paladin level (rounded down). The undead's attack is also considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances and immunities.
Aura Of Deliverance
Starting at 7th Level, you and all creatures within 15 feet of you do additional damage to undead equal to your Charisma modifier. In addition, all undead have disadvantage on attacks against those within 15 feet of you. At the 19th Level, this aura increases to 30 feet.
Somber Duty
At 15th level, to allow people their right of death, you must forgo your own. You no longer need to eat, drink or sleep and gain benefits of a long rest by instead doing 8 hours of light activity. You also have resistance to Necrotic damage and for every 10 years that go by you only age 1 year but, cannot die of old age.
The Face Of Death
At 20th level, you have perfected using your enemy against itself. As an action, you may summon six undead servants for 1 hour that follow within 5 feet of you. These servants take no actions, but, so long as one remains you get the following benefits:
- Whenever you hit a creature with a melee attack you do additional d8 necrotic damage equal to the number of undead servants that still remain. The target also can't take reactions and has their speed halved until the start of your next turn.
- Your Runic Blade Channel Divinity damage die is improved to a d10 on all accounts.
- Anytime you would normally get hit by an attack you take no damage and one of your undead servants get hit instead and vanishes.
Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
