Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of Filth binds a paladin to the earth and the natural order of dirt and grime that covers it. These paladins are generally devout follows of the god of filth Barro, although some other minor gods have followings. Like many paladins, they are generally upstanding citizens and push themselves to have the highest standards of conduct and justice, but do so while covered in the natural Filth of the earth. They do whatever they can to avoid cleanliness, as they believe this is impure and unnatural.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Grimy Weapon: As an action, you can coat one weapon that you are holding with blessed mud, using your Channel Divinity. For 1 minute, you add your constitution modifier to attack rolls made with that weapon (with a minimum bonus of +1). The weapon also covers enemies in dirt on a successful hit, which has no inherit effect. If the weapon is not already magical, it becomes magical for the duration. You can end this effect on your turn as part of any other action. If you are no longer holding or carrying this weapon, or if you fall unconscious, this effect ends.

Muck Cage: You can use your Channel Divinity to command the filth (if there is none, spectral mud appears) to encase an enemy within 10 feet of you that you can see. The creature must succeed on a Str saving throw or be restrained. While restrained by the mud the creature repeats the saving throw at the end of each of its turns. On a success, it frees itself, and either the mud is thrown off, or the spectral mud vanishes.

Aura of Pestilence
Starting at 7th level, your blessed grime is so deeply ingrained into your being that you give off a powerful acidic stench, providing resistance to ranged attacks to you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Muck Imprisonment
Starting at 15th level, your understanding of the ancient filth increases, allowing for greater control over the earth. You can either encase up to 3 enemies within 10 feet of you with mud, which must succeed on a str saving throw or be restrained, or 1 enemy within 10 feet of you with blessed mud, which must succeed on a str saving throw +3. While restrained by the mud, the creature repeats the saving throw at the end of each of its turns. On a success, it frees itself and the mud is thrown off.
Ancient Earth Acolyte
Starting at 20th level, you unlock the secrets of earth and mud, and you can don powerful Filth armor.
For 1 hour, you gain the following benefits:
- Your AC increases by 3
- You gain a burrow speed of 60
- You can add +3 to any melee attacks
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
