Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The Path of the Boulder is a path which forces a barbarian to connect with the sturdiest things in their world, the very ground they stand on. In battle, you become one with a rolling boulder, becoming an unstoppable force if left to roll.

Rolling Rage

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your rage becomes similar to a rolling boulder, which builds power until it crashes. Whenever you start your turn while in a rage, your Rage Damage bonus increases by +1, to a maximum additional bonus equal to your constitution modifier, (minimum of +1)

Additionally, if your rage ends prematurely, you can use your reaction to choose one creature within 5 feet of you who must succeed on a strength saving throw (DC = 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Your Constitution Modifier) or be pushed back a number of feat equal to your rage damage bonus multiplied by five.

Sturdy Speed

Beginning at 6th level, you can also use the Dash action as a bonus action on your turn, if you are raging. Dashing in this way also grants a bonus to your armor class equal to half of your proficiency bonus (rounding down) until the start of your next turn.

Furious Stone

Beginning at 10th level, you can use your rages built up power to strike with absolute strength. Once per long rest, you can choose to end your rage when you land a successful melee weapon attack on your turn, but before you apply damage. If you do so, you can an additional number of d12 bludgeoning damage, the amount of dice is equal to your Rage Damage bonus. This damage is magical if your weapon is magical.

After that attacks damage is applied, your Rolling Rage reaction can then activate.

Stone Coated Rage

Starting at 14th level, your rage coats you in stone, shielding you from additional harm and amplifying your strength slightly. Whenever you enter a rage, you gain the following benefits.

  • If you are not wearing any armor, your Armor Class equals 13 + your Dexterity modifier + your Constitution modifier
  • You gain resistance to Fire damage, and immunity to Lightning damage
  • Your Rage Damage bonus is +1 higher than it normally would, this bonus does not count against your Rolling Rage increase.
