Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Bartending are those with no real talent for formal performance who instead turn to another method of bringing joy to peoples’ faces: drink. Often on the road searching for the perfect location for their future tavern, these bards are not the simple bartenders of most rural taverns, but expert mixologists passionate about the art of alcohol. The life of any party and beloved by all, they are on a never-ending mission to show the world that there is more to life than ale and wine (and that there is, in fact, a myriad of fancy mixed drinks to partake of).

Bonus Proficiencies.

When you join the College of Bartending at 3 level, you gain proficiency with alchemist’s supplies, brewer’s supplies, cook’s utensils, and poisoner’s kits.

Drinking Games.

Starting at 3rd level, when you give someone Bardic Inspiration, you also gain Bardic Inspiration.

Magical Cocktails.

At 6 level, you learn how to brew your spells into mixed drinks. By expending time, a glass vial, and alcohol, you create a potion containing the effect of one spell or cantrip you know, which you determine at the start of brewing. You may use a second vial and make a DC 18 check using alchemist’s supplies, brewer’s supplies, cook’s utensils, or a poisoner’s kit (if you are in possession of one of these tool sets). On a success, you create 2 potions (with the same effect) instead of 1. If the brewing process is interrupted, the potion is rendered unusable and the alcohol required for the incomplete potion is lost. These potions may be used by anyone in possession of them as an action; You, however, may choose to use them as an action or bonus action. When in potion form, the spell uses somatic components only, and has its original range. The brewing costs for each spell are below:

Spell level             Time                    Alcohol cost

cantrip                     15 minutes               1 gp
Level 1                     20 minutes               2 gp
Level 2                     30 minutes               5 gp
Level 3                     45 minutes               10 gp
Level 4                     1 hour                        20 gp
Level 5                     2 hours                      50 gp
Level 6                     4 hours                      100 gp
Level 7                     8 hours                      200 gp
Level 8                     12 hours                    500 gp
Level 9                     24 hours                    1000 gp

Seen it All.

At 14 level, you have seen enough nonsense in your time bartending that you are unfazed by most things. You become immune to the Charmed, Frightened, Poisoned, and Stunned conditions, and have advantage on all Wisdom saving throws.
