Base Class: Paladin
The oath of the crusader heavily emphasizes melee damage and protections. A handful of offensive spells and protective spells join abilities designed to keep the crusader in melee and dealing damage. Divine power allows the crusader to wield their blade with the force if their charisma, as well as pouring radiant damage in those who manage to breach their defences.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Purifying Blade - As an action, you can bless a weapon you are currently holding. You may use your Charisma modifier for that weapon's attack and damage rolls. The weapon remains blessed until you bless another weapon. A blessed weapon may be summoned to the wielder's open hand as a bonus action, regardless of distance or obstruction.
Shroud of Radiance - As an action, the paladin cloaks himself in divine energy. For one minute, any creature who deals damage to the paladin takes 1d8 radiant damage.

Relentless Purification
At 7th level, any spell slots used for Divine Smite recover on a short rest.
Zealous Vitality
Starting at 15th level, when you deal radiant damage, you gain that amount of temporary hitpoints.
Sword of the Gods
At 20th level, once per long rest, as an action, you can transform for 1 hour to gain the following benefits:
You lift a foot off of the ground, doubling your movement speed and ignoring difficult terrain for the duration.
Additionally, during this time you use a bonus action or your reaction--but not both in the same round--to make a melee weapon attack.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
