Base Class: Barbarian
For some barbarians, your supernatural physical feats are gifted unto you by the Lunar bodies of the world. The Path of the Lunar Emissary is a path of unwavering reverence for their radiance. As you enter the lunar emissary's rage, you find guidance for a way forward, even amongst the darkest shadows.
Form of the Moon
At 3rd level, when you adopt this path, you choose a form of the moon.
Light of the Blood Moon
While you’re raging, you gain advantage on intelligance and charisma saving throws.
Light of the Dark Moon
You gain resistance to necrotic damage. In addition, you gain 60ft of dark vision and you can see through magical darkness.
Light of the Pearl Moon
You May add a d6 of radiant damage to your melee attacks. This can be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per short rest.
At 9th level this increases to a d8. At 13th this increases to a d10. At 17th this increases to a d12.
Lunar Guidance
At 6th level, you gain infinite access to the guidance cantrip, and a single use of the spells Invisibility, and moonbeam per long rest. CON is your spellcasting ability. In addition, you gain resistance to radiant damage.
At level 14, this becomes immunity to radiant damage.
Gibbous Rebuke
Starting at 10th level, when an ally within 30ft of you takes damage from a melee attack, you may use a reaction to damage the attacker up to a distance of 120ft. The damage type depends on which form of the moon you chose.
These correspond as follows:
- Blood Moon 3d10 psychic damage
- Dark Moon, 3d10 necrotic damage
- Pearl Moon 3d10 radiant damage
This is usable a number of times equal to your constitution modifier per long rest.
At 17th level this increases to 4d10 damage.
Moonlight Trance
At 14th level, you gain a bonus action you can enter a heightened state, granting you several abilities for 1 minute.
- When you or an ally within 60ft is targeted with an attack roll you can use your reaction to force them to make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. If they fail, that imposes a penalty to the attack roll equal to your half-your-level, rounded down.
- You and allied creatures within 60ft have advantage on saving throws against psychic, radiant and necrotic damage.
- Once per turn, if you miss with an attack, you can expend a use of your Gibbous Rebuke to re-make the attack with advantage, even if you did not use the reckless feature.
This feature is usable once per long rest.
