Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

While all rogues learn to fight in unusual ways the pit fighter is perhaps one of the most unorthodox of them all. Brazenly forgoing subterfuge and nimble dodging they welcome punishment, dealing it back two-fold to their foes. Whether they fight monsters or gladiatorial champions the pit fighter is here for a bad time and to give everyone else an even worse one.

Glutton for Punishment

As long as you aren't wearing Medium or Heavy Armor or wielding a shield you can subtract your proficiency bonus (PB) from any Bludgeoning, Piercing, or Slashing damage you receive. This damage mitigation happens before any other reduction to damage takes place (e.g. Uncanny Dodge).

You also gain an additional way to use your Sneak Attack; you don't need advantage on your attack roll to use Sneak Attack against a creature if you are within 5 feet of it, you don't have disadvantage on the attack roll, and it targeted you with an attack, spell, or other harmful effect since the end of your last turn. All other rules related to Sneak Attacks still apply.

Gladiator's Regimen

Your grueling training has reinforced both your body's physique and your unorthodox technique.
You gain proficiency with the Athletics skill if you did not already possess it. If you were already proficient you gain expertise in Athletics instead. You also count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift. Lastly when you wield simple weapons or the longsword the weapon is treated as having the Finesse property.

Goading Jeer

At 9th level you've learned how to best draw the ire of your opponents and punish them in kind. As an action you can taunt a hostile creature you can see within 60 feet of you with colorful language, crude gestures, or making a show of how weak and insignificant they are. Until the start of your next turn the target creature has disadvantage on attack and spell attack rolls made against any target other than you. As part of this action you can give the target a +5 to hit on attack rolls or spell attacks targeting you. If the target creature makes an attack or spell attack roll with this bonus you deal an additional +10 damage on your next sneak attack targeting them before the end of your next turn. The additional damage you deal is granted regardless of whether the attack or spell attack actually hits you.

Reactive Enmity

At 9th your body instinctively reacts to harm with doling it out in kind. When you use your reaction to reduce damage with your Uncanny Dodge feature you may make an opportunity attack against the source of the attack as part of the the same reaction. If the attack was made from further than 5 feet away the reaction allows you to move up to half of your walking speed (rounded up) towards the attacker. If this movement would put you within 5 feet of them you may make a opportunity attack against them as part of the reaction.

Battered Iron

At 13th level your body has grown ever more resistant to injury, a web of scars and deadened tissue dampening continued blows. The damage mitigation from the Glutton for punishment feature is now applied to all types of damage you receive. Additionally you have advantage on death saving throws.

Unstoppable Grit

At 17th level your rock solid determination gives you the ability to grow only stronger as you are brought closer to the brink. When you have less than half of your hit points remaining your sneak attack does an additional 3d6 damage. When you attack and hit a creature that has forced you to make a death saving throw since your last short or long rest you can double the damage dealt by your sneak attack. Once you have used this feature you cannot use it again until you have completed a long rest.
