Base Class: Fighter
Some say that the most basic class in D&D is the Fighter. These same people would pose that the most basic fighter subclass is Champion. "Oh we heard you like fighter so we put more fighter in your fighter hur dur dur." Are mocking words you often hear from these Neanderthals. That's because they are jealous of the versatility that comes with the class through the sheer number of Feat options. I don't want their jealousy. I want their fear.
Rise above the Fighter masses. Soar past the great Champions. Give a knowing nod to Rune Knights on your way beyond because those guys are cool.
It is time to ascend to Exalted Fighter.
Ability Score Improvement
When you reach 3rd level, and again at 7th, 10th, 12th, 15th, and 18th level in this subclass, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can’t increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.
Using the optional feats rule, you can forgo taking this feature to take a feat of your choice instead.

Then use that action surge to do it again, because you are a God among Gods. You are the Exalted.
