Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Deep within some mountains, a fury of fire and rock waits under immense pressure, ready to explode in violent destruction. Some barbarians follow this same principle and use their connection to volcanoes to erupt in fiery rage.

Volcano's Fury

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, the fire that churns beneath the ground is your companion in rage, bursting forth with your destructive anger. While you are raging, whenever a creature within 5 feet of you is dealt damage for the first time on a turn, you may have that creature take 1d6 fire damage. This radius doubles to 10 feet at 14th level.

Magma Armor

Starting at 6th level, rivers of fire burn through your veins. In your fury, it pours forth from your body like magma breaching through cracks in an angry mountain. Whenever you take damage while raging, you may deal fire damage to a creature of your choice within the radius of your Volcano's Fury feature equal to 1d4 plus your rage damage.

With this coating of molten rock covering your body, you gain a resistance to fire damage.

Fiery Temper

At 10th level, your rage fuels fires most terrifying, and like the eruptions from which you pull power, your fires threaten to roar out of control. Whenever you roll one or more damage dice for fire damage and roll the highest number on one of the dice, you may roll an additional die of that kind. This additional die cannot cause this feature to occur again.

Extinction

Beginning at 14th level, your rage lets loose the explosive fire within, and an eruption blasts through. Whenever you go into a rage, choose up to five creatures you can see within 30 feet of you. Each of those creatures must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8+ your Proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) taking 4d12 fire damage on a failure and half on a success.
