Base Class: Ranger
In the West, there are worse things to fear than bandits and outlaws. Demons. Monsters. Witches. It is your sacred duty as a Black Badge is to hunt them down and send them packing, banish them from the mortal realm for good. You didn’t choose this life. No. You didn’t choose life at all. Shot dead in a gunfight many years ago, now you're stuck in purgatory, serving the whims of the White Throne to avoid falling to hell. Not quite undead, though not alive either, the best you can hope for is to work off your penance and fade away.
Forgotten Frontiersmen
In life you were an accomplished rider, from horses to drakes, if it had a saddle you could ride it. And your time in the saddle you've gotten familiar with certain tools of the trade. Gain proficiency Land Vehicles and Survival.
Viquero Vision
You had to be one tough son of a gun to survive out in the world, even more so with the monstes that lurk in the shadows. Your Primevil Awarness now can detect fellow Black Badges and targets of the White Throne. Gain darkvision if you do not already have it.
Black Badge Magic
The White Throne has given you a sliver of their divine power to aid in your missions. Don't expect much else from them.
Unearthy Bond
Your connection to the White Throne gives you the ability to commune with a celestial being, who is said to help guide you on your journy, and contact the spirits of the departed. Once a day you can cast the commune spell but replace any material components with a reflective surface.
You also gain the ability to speak with the dead, however only be able to see trhe immediet moments before their death, and youi must succeed a dc 15 wisdom save or take [roll]1d6[/roll] psychic damage.
Silver Bullets
During down time if you have silver to spare you can convert ammunition into silvered ammunition, 5 sp per 1 ammunition. Your weapon attacks are now considered as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage, and while the bullets are silver they do an addition d8 to monsters made by magical means, fiends, and undead. Add an another d8 at levels 15, 17, and 19.
Hand of God
As a divine soldier under the White Thrones employ, faithful or otherwise, you curry a certain level of favor gaining you the following properties a number of times per day equal to your proficieny modifier:
Attacks now Crit on a 17 or higher.
You gain advantage on ranged attacks
you gain the ability to heal 2 hit dice per attack action
If you reach 0 hit points instead drop to 1 and empose a dc 25 Wisdom save on everyone within a 20 foot radius, on a failed save they will be paralyzed for a full round of combat
