Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

The Song of the Universe. Within its verses are the secrets of life, death, order, chaos, and all magic that is and ever could be. Knowledge of its full breadth has been lost to the ages, but there are stories of those who, through some gift of their birth, may yet be able to hear the melody that wove creation into being. Some people devote their entire lives to learning a single verse.

You are a Weavesinger. Your magic comes from an innate ability to hear, interpret, and reproduce melodies from the mythical Song of the Universe. At first, you may only hear a few notes, but from the moment you first heard the music, you were forever changed. Now, your voice resonates with the Weave, vibrating in harmony or dissonance to produce incredible magical effects.

Voice of the Weavesinger

At 1st level, you gain the ability to channel magic through your voice. If you can vocalize, you do not need to utilize an arcane focus to cast spells.

In addition, you gain access to the Bard spell list.

Gift of Tongues

Your ear for music empowers your speech as well. At 1st level, you gain the ability to understand and communicate in all spoken languages you come into contact with. In order to understand a language you have never encountered before, you must spend at least 1 hour familiarizing yourself with it by conversing with a native speaker. After that, you are considered conversationally fluent. However, you cannot read or write the languages that you learn in this manner without additional training and study.

Dissonant Melody

At 6th level, you learn to sing counter to a person's resonance to disrupt them. As a reaction, you can spend 3 sorcery points to impose disadvantage on an attack that you can see within 30ft.

Harmonious Refrain

At 6th level, you learn to sing in harmony with a person's resonance to empower them. As a bonus action, you can spend 3 sorcery points to give you or an ally that you can see within 30 ft advantage on their next skill check or attack roll.

Dissonant Melody (Counterspell)

At 14th level, your voice can disrupt the Weave around your enemies. You learn Counterspell if you do not know it already, and it does not count against your list of known spells. As a reaction, you can spend 3 sorcery points to cast Counterspell without expending a spell slot. To cast at higher levels, an additional 2 sorcery points must be spent per level.

Harmonious Refrain

At 14th level, your refrain grows stronger. As an action, you can spend 5 sorcery points and choose up to 3 allies within 60ft who you can see and can hear you. For the next 60 seconds, they can add your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) to their attack rolls and saving throws. You may designate yourself as an ally for this ability if you so choose.

Transcendent Song

Your voice transcends material limits and emanates through the Weave itself. At 18th level, you cannot be silenced, and your spells no longer require line of sight so long as you are aware of your target and they are within range.
