Base Class: Barbarian
Tap into your inner fighting spirit and indomitable nature to release a brand new kind of rage on your enemies.
Peak Performance
The first step towards being unstoppable is to prepare the body for the hardship you must endure. Starting at 3rd level, you gain the following benefits:
- You are counted as one size larger when determining how much you can push, drag, and lift, and for what you can grapple.
- You become proficient in your unarmed strikes, and they deal 1d8 damage, or 1d10 damage if both your hands are free.
- You reduce all damage you take by 2, to a minimum of 1, while you are raging. This damage reduction applies after resistances.
Unrelenting Rage
The Path of Unrelenting allows you to access a new form of rage: Unrelenting Rage. Starting at 3rd level, when you would use your bonus action to enter Rage, you may choose to enter an Unrelenting Rage.
An Unrelenting Rage has the same effects as a normal Rage, with the following changes:
- The first time you would take damage that would drop you below half your maximum hit points, you can gain temporary hit points equal to your Barbarian level before taking the damage.
- While you are below half your maximum hitpoints, your rage damage and your armor class increase by 1.
- When you use your action to make an unarmed strike or attempt to shove or grapple a target, you can make one unarmed strike as a bonus action.
- While you are above half your maximum hitpoints, all weapon attacks against you are made with advantage.
- If you end an Unrelenting Rage below half your max maximum hitpoints, you gain 1 level of exhaustion.
Unconquerable Mind
Your time enraged has lead your mind to be a unique form of impenetrable. Starting at 6th level, if a creature attempts to charm or frighten you by any means, they must first make a Wisdom Saving Throw (DC = 8 + PB + Your Strength or Constitution Modifier). If the creature fails, their attempt to charm or frightened you fails and they become frightened of you until the end of their next turn. A creature that succeeds on this saving throw is immune for 24 hours.
Enduring Grit
Your body is unstoppable even in the most dire of times. Starting at level 10, If you would take damage that would reduce you to below half your maximum hit points and you are not in an Unrelenting Rage, you can use your reaction to instead be reduced to exactly half your maximum hit points and enter an Unrelenting Rage. You can only use this reaction once, regaining this use after a long rest.
Additionally, the additional rage damage and armor class granted by your Unrelenting Rage becomes 2.
Unstoppable Force
Your individual blows are now as unrelenting as you are. Starting at 14th level, if you attack a creature and total roll for your attack exceeds the targets armor class by 10 or more, the attack automatically becomes a critical hit. While you are below half your maximum hitpoints and in an Unrelenting Rage, the attack only has to exceed the armor class of the target by 5 or more.
