Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Defend the Planewalkers Guild and its members from anyone that would seek to destroy them or the dimensions it protects. You use your skill in the defensive martial arts in tandem with your skills with the shield to block anything harmful coming your or your ally's way.

Always Ready

Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain a +1 to your AC, and proficiency in the perception skill. If you are already Proficient you gain expertise instead. You are always on the watch for danger and this has resulted in you becoming observant.

Guardian's Leap

You resolve to protect your allies by becoming their shield. When an ally you can see within 5 feet of you is the target of a creature's attack roll, you can use your reaction to leap in between your ally and the enemy as long as you are not prone, grappled, or restrained.

You move up to 5ft into your ally's space, and your ally is pushed 5ft into an unoccupied space. This move does not provoke opportunity attacks on you or your ally. You are the new target to the attack and you can reduce the damage of that attack by 1d6 + your fighter level. The damage reduction increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 2d6 at 9th level, 3d6 at 15th level, and 4d6 at 20th level.
