Base Class: Bard
This Bard College focuses on reaching the perfect physique and striking poses to inspire and strike awe in others. These Bards, commonly referred to as Body Builder Bards are common entertainment in taverns, art studios, and traveling circuses as models, strong men, and professional wrestlers.
Sculpted by the Gods
When you join the College of Musclemancy, your physique is so remarkable, and you exude so much confidence, that it provides you protection. You gain an armor class of 10+ Str mod+ Cha mod. Furthermore, you are unable to use any of your bard spells when wearing armor.
Power Pose
In addition, when you join the College of Musclemancy, your understanding of archaic and esoteric poses allows you to inspire awe to friends and foes alike. You may perform bardic actions that require creatures to hear you, such as providing inspiration, if they can see you, even if they can't hear you. Range of these abilities is unaffected. In addition, you learn to use your bardic inspiration in new ways. You gain the following uses for your inspiration:
- Beauty’s rebuke: Your bodily perfection makes attackers horrified by the thought of hurting you. You may use a bardic inspiration to cause a creature that attacks you this turn to take psychic damage equal to your bardic inspiration dice role prior to rolling damage against you.
- Bastion of Hope: You strike a pose that invokes strength in your comrades. You may choose a creature within 60 feet of you that can see you. The creature may use your strength modifier in lieu of their own for all strength checks until the end of the round.
Musclemancy
Finally, when you join the College of Musclemancy, your impressive conditioning causes your unarmed strikes to deal increased damage. You can now roll 1D6 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strikes.
Divine Physique
At 6th level your physique has an almost supernatural perfection. Your unarmed strikes are now magical for the sake of overcoming resistances. In addition, you unarmed strikes now deal 1D8 damage.
Flowing Forms
Additionally at level 6, you may attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the attack action.
Perfect Forms
At level 14, your poses come so naturally you are able to perform them, even during complex tasks. If you either use the attack or cast a spell action you can make a single unarmed strike, shove, or grapple as a bonus action. In addition, your unarmed strikes now deal 1D10 Damage.
