Monk
Base Class: Monk

The Silly Goose Monk is an absurdist who rolls with the punches and revels in the beautiful tomfoolery that is existing in a universe absent of inherent meaning. With a lack of inherent meaning, the Monastery of the Silly Goose deems the most fruitful and peace-giving way of living is to relate to the innate silliness of all things. Members of this tradition tend to be chaotic by doctrine. The Monastery demands nothing of those who have studied the Way of the Silly Goose except that they maintain a healthy distance from things they would consider "a drag." When in the midst of a situation that can be called "a drag," they have a moral obligation to remind everyone that the truth is silly.

Philosophy Major at a Party

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can manipulate your enemy’s ki when you harness your own. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can impose one of the following effects on that target:

  • It must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or fall prone under the weight of your existential reasoning.
  • It must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails, you can push it up to 15 feet away from you.
  • It can’t take reactions until the end of your next turn as it contemplates the absurdist worldview.

lol random xd

At 6th level, you have mastered the art of "lol random xd." If in combat your initiative is higher than an opponent, for the first round of combat only, all opponents who go after you get disadvantage for all saves because you are just so quirky and unpredictable.

Riffing with God

Beginning at 11th level, you can enter a special meditation that surrounds you with an aura of conscientious detachment. At the end of a long rest, you gain the effect of a absorb elements spell that lasts until the start of your next long rest (the spell can end early as normal). Whatever life throws your way, you can riff off like a champ.

I May Be Cringe, But I Am Free

At 17th level, you fully embrace that cringe is only a state of mind. If everything is silly, than everything/nothing is cringe. The freedom this new understanding grants you many advantages. You now have advantage on CHA saving throws. You may use Dash as a bonus action. You may spend 6 ki points to cast an additional spell (up to twice per long rest) on your turn.
