Base Class: Monk
Monks of this mosaic tradition are able to channel their ki to manipulate the blood flow of others. This tradition is controversial with many people believing the practice is evil and wrong. Even with that being the case, there are still many monks who harness these powers for righteous intent.
Bonus Proficiency
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level you gain proficiency with the medicine skill or expertise with the medicine skill if you were already proficient.
Restricting Blows
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your training allows you to disrupt the blood flow in your enemy’s body. Whenever you hit a creature with an attack granted by your flurry of blows, you may choose one of the effects to befall the creature.
- It must succeed on a constitution saving throw or have disadvantage on all attack rolls until the end of its next turn due to lack of blood flowing into its arms (or other modes of attack)
- It must succeed on a constitution saving throw or have its movement speed decreased to zero until the end of its next turn as blood no longer flows to its legs (or other modes of movement)
- It must succeed on a strength saving throw or drop an item it is holding as it loses the strength to keep its grip.
This ability does not work on undead, constructs and other creatures who do not have blood. You may only use this ability once per turn.
Flesh Marionette
Once you reach 6th level, your mosaic training allows to manipulate the actions of others. Whenever you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you may spend 2 ki points to force the creature to make an attack on another creature of your choosing within the creature’s range. The creature attacks with whatever weapon it is currently holding, ranged attacks are made at disadvantage. This ability does not work on undead, constructs and other creature who do not have blood.
At 11th level when you use this ability you may also make the creature move half of its movement speed in a direction that you choose. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.
Blood From A Stone
At 11th level, your training has granted you the ability to simulate the effects of blood on a creature that has none. You may now use the abilities granted by this mosaic tradition on undead, constructs and other creatures who do not have blood.
Apocoplexy
At 17th level your mastery of blood manipulation reaches deadly efficiency. As an action, you may spend 4 ki points to touch a creature and force it to make a constitution saving throw or become racked with internal bleeding. If the creature succeeds on its saving throw then it does not start internally bleeding and you regain 2 of the 4 ki points spent to use this ability. The internal bleeding deals 2d8 necrotic damage at the end of the creature's turn for the next minute. If the creature has an intelligence score higher than 4 then it may end the internal bleeding by volunteering full control of its body over to you at the beginning of its turn. You get full access to any of the abilities that the creature has but you can not activate legendary actions, lair actions or cast spells that are higher than 5th level. Control over the creature ends at the end of its turn.
