Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

As a Viking you have an indomitable warriors spirit. This takes shape as a wolf from the halls of Valhalla itself. You are used to the frozen wastelands of your homeland and can take quite a few hits. As well as dealing devastating blows with your fellow raiders or whoever you find yourself in league with.

Frost's Fury

Starting at third level when you rage you are resistant to cold damage in addition to bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing. You have ice in your veins you and your wolf companion gain temp hp equal to your proficiency bonus plus your barbarian level.

 Starting at third level, whenever you rage, you can, as part of the same bonus action, summon a companion in the shape of a Wolf (found in Appendix A of the Monster Manual), using the same statistics as one. It remains summoned for the duration of your rage, going back to the hall of the slain once it ends.

  While summoned, the companion gains several benefits, such as:

  • resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage;
  • a bonus to attack rolls, as well as Strength and Constitution saving throws equal to your proficiency bonus;
  • a bonus to damage rolls to its attacks equal to your rage damage modifier.

    Be it your faith in the norse gods or your own will of winter, you have caught the eye of Odin, who blessed you with a companion of battle.

Fury of the Frozen

Your blood and will to fight hiss like the cold, granting you the following benefits:

  When you reach 6th level you and your wolf do not suffer the effects of extreme cold. Moreover, you ignore difficult terrain created by snow or ice.

  Your companion also grows, now being a Young Winter Wolf.

Viking Tactics

At 10th level, you have become familiar with running formations with your fellow raiders.

  Whenever you use your Reckless Attack feature on an attack against a creature, you can choose an allied creature within 15 feet of you to also gain advantage against the same creature until the end of your next turn.

  You can use that feature twice, regaining all the uses at the end of a long rest.

Winter Wolf

You become one with the winter, your soul becoming untouchable to its dangers

  Once you reach 14th level, your resistance to cold damage once when you are raging becomes immunity to cold damage, and you naturally have resistance to cold damage when you are not raging.

  Finally, your Companion of Valhalla becomes an adult Winter Wolf, using the statistics of a Winter Wolf.
