Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your bloodline is marked with remnants of the Elemental Chaos. Maybe you were once exposed to the pure energies of the Elemental Planes, maybe your soul was mixed with the elements somehow when you were born, or maybe you have strong elemental connections within your ancestry. No matter the reason, the Elemental Chaos lives partly within you, making your own self more connected to nature than everyone. This connection gives you innate elemental and primal powers typically associated with druids and races such as genasi.

Primal Magic

Your link to nature and the elements allows you to learn spells from the druid class. When your Spellcasting feature lets you learn or replace a sorcerer cantrip or a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose the new spell from the druid spell list or the sorcerer spell list. You must otherwise obey all the restrictions for selecting the spell, and it becomes a sorcerer spell for you.

Elemental Tongue

Starting at 1st-level, you can speak, read and write Primordial. All your verbal components for your spells are spoke in this language.

Wild Form

Starting at 1st level, wild shapeshifting power imbues you. You can cast the Polymorph spell on yourself requiring no components and without spending a spell slot once per long rest.

Elemental Investiture

Starting at 6th level, your innate connection with the elements allows you to invest your body with the elemental energy you cast. Whenever you cast a spell that deals acid, cold, fire, lightning or thunder damage, you can spend 1 or more sorcery points in order to grant yourself resistance to that same type of damage.

This resistance lasts for one hour for each sorcery point used or until you use this feature again.

Additionally, you learn the Mage Armor spell if you didn't have it already. You can use this feature when casting this spell, too, choosing the type of damage.

Savage Connection

Starting at 14th level, you can use your bonus action to mentally communicate a 25 words long message to any elemental or beast you can see within 120 feet of you. If you are asking that creature to do something for you, you'll have advantage on you Persuasion roll, as you are appealing to their elemental and wild nature with your powers. If the creature has an Intelligence score of 4 or higher, you don't have advantage on your roll. Your attempt automatically fails if the creature is immune to being charmed, and automatically succeeds if it is charmed by you.

You can use this feature as many times as your Charisma modifier per short rest.

Elemental Armor

Starting at 18th level, your body becomes closer with the elements that give you your powers. Whenever you cast the mage armor spell, you can spend 5 sorcery points in order to produce one effect tied to one element that lasts as long as the spell. Choose one from fire, water, air, earth and wild.

Fire. You shed bright light in a 30 foot radius and dim light in a 30 foot radius. Additionally, if you would be reduced to 0 hit points while your Mage Armor is still up, you instead are left at 1 hit point, as cauterizing flames protect and reawaken you. Then the spell ends.

Water. You gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed and you can breathe underwater. Additionally, when a creature targets you with an attack, you can use your reaction to surround yourself with water and impose disadvantage on the attack roll.

Air. You gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed and you can hold your breath indefinitely. Additionally, you gain advantage on Dexterity saving throws.

Earth. You ignore difficult terrain and your movement cannot be reduced in any way. Additionally, you become immune to the charmed and frightened condition and to poison and disease.

Wild. You can cast Polymorph on yourself as part the same action you use to cast Mage Armor, requiring no components and consuming no spell slot. While polymorphed this way you retain your mental stats, you understand languages, you can maintain your Concentration and your animal form has a +3 to its AC.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
