Base Class: Warlock
This member of the trio walks a fine line between a scholar and a trickster, obscuring herself to all but the most devoted of her patrons. It may be benevolent or cruel in equal measure, but you can be assured that there is always a reason for its actions. Its patronage allows you to travel further into the realm of knowledge than most beings ever get the chance to. Do not take this lightly.
Commune
You can contact your deity or a divine proxy and ask up to three questions that have generally simple answers. You must ask your questions before the spell ends. You receive a correct answer for each question.
Divine beings aren't necessarily omniscient, so you might receive "unclear" as an answer if a question pertains to information that lies beyond the deity's knowledge. In a case where a too-simple or direct answer could be misleading or contrary to the deity's interests, the GM might offer a short phrase or a riddle as an answer instead.
Evade Oversight
Roll an insight check to see whether or not your deity is listening, and roll a charisma save to attempt to block them out. DC of 17 for both, but unless you roll a nat 20, your deity will know that you are hiding something.
Inconspicuous Identity
At 1st level, your patron grants the ability to hide in plain sight. While people will see you, their mind will be deceived into disregarding you as being not worth registering or remembering. You simply become an innocuous background feature to either everyone, or only those hostile to you as you so choose, unless they succeed at a Wisdom save against your spell save DC. This effect immediately ends if you attack someone or cast a spell. After using this feature, you can’t use it again until you take a short or long rest.
Lesser Arcanum
You choose one spell of 2nd and 3rd level which are useable once per day each, from any classes’ spell list, and they count as warlock spells for you. Additionally, you can cast these spells as rituals if they have the ritual tag.
Magical Mechanics
Starting at 10th level, your understanding of the mechanics beyond magical effects and the cosmic forces are developed enough that if you see a spell being cast, you can use your reaction to make an arcana check to know what the spell is. If the spell you identify with this check would force you to make a saving throw, you can make that saving throw with advantage.
Additionally, your comprehension of magic allows you to access magic beyond your power, but not your knowledge. You can cast from a Spell Scroll even if the spell isn't on your spell list, and you can add your proficiency bonus to the ability check to successfully cast from a Spell Scroll.
Fleeting Omniscience
Starting at 14th level, you can briefly comprehend the true form of knowledge and use it to weave together the perfect form of magic. As a bonus action, you can replace your spellcasting ability modifier with the sum of your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma modifiers until the end of your turn. You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
