Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Titans are likely the ultimate barbarians. Their strength rivals even those of the Giants themselves.

Restriction: Powerful Creatures Only

Only creatures with the Powerful Build trait can choose the Path of the Titan.

Your DM can lift this restriction to better suit the campaign. The restriction reflects the inherent strength those creatures normally have, though anyone of tremendous strength could take this Path. (If you were to ignore the Powerful Only restriction consider ruling only if the character has a 16 or higher in their Strength score could they take this Path, at least in the case of multiclassing if anything)

Strength of Giants

At 3rd level when you follow this Path, your maximum Strength and Constitution scores can be raised to 22, without magic. At 20th level the maximum for the scores can now reach to 26.

Large Weapon Mastery

At 3rd level when you follow this Path, you gain the following benefits:

  • You can wield any melee weapon with the Two-Handed Property with one hand as if it were a Versatile weapon instead. If a Glaive, Halberd or Pike is two handed, it deals 1d12 damage. If a Greatsword, Maul or Greataxe is two handed, it deals 2d8 damage.
  • You can engage in Two Weapon Fighting even if the weapons do not have the Light Property, however you cannot use 2 Heavy property weapons or Lances for Two Weapon Fighting.
  • When you wield a weapon that is normally a Versatile Weapon such as a longsword, spear, etc. you use its two handed damage die as its one handed die. And if two handed the damage die becomes 1 size larger.
  • If you are considered a Small creature, you also ignore the penalties of the Heavy Weapon Property.

Expanding Rage

At 6th level whenever you enter a Rage and you are a size category smaller than Large, you expand until you are Large, along with anything you are wearing. If you lack the room to become Large, your size doesn’t change. You may remain enlarged for as long as you maintain the Rage. While enlarged in this way, your weapons deal an additional 1d4 damage of the weapon's type and you may add 1d4 to your Strength checks and saving throws.

Heavy Impact

At 10th level whenever you attack with a Heavy property weapon with two-hands or any melee weapon against a creature smaller than you, you may force your target to make a Strength saving throw; DC = 8 + your Strength modifier + your proficiency. On a fail the creature is knocked prone. if the weapon used for the attack is a Heavy property weapon, you are larger than your target and the creature failed the saving throw, the creature is knocked prone and restrained as they are smashed into the ground; the target or another creature may use its Action to attempt the save again, freeing the creature from restraint on a success. If another creature used its Action to free the restrained creature and succeeded, they may help the creature stand back up as part of the same Action.

You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier and regain all expended uses whenever you complete a short or long rest

Colossal Might

At 14th level while you are enlarged by your Expanding Rage feature you can expend another use of your Rage as a Bonus Action to increase your size once more becoming Huge, along with anything you are wearing while also increasing the number of d4s you add to your weapon damage, Strength checks and Strength saving throws by 1; total 2d4. As with your Expanding Rage feature, in order to reach such a size you must be able to fit into the space you occupy. However, to maintain this excessive size you must succeed on a DC15 Constitution saving throw at the end of each of your turns, on a failure you shrink back down to Large size and cannot use this feature again until the end of your next turn.

At 20th level you can use a Bonus Action each turn while Raging to increase your size one category along with anything you are wearing, maximizing at Gargantuan. As stated previously, in order to reach such sizes you must be able to fit into the space you occupy, for every size category you grow increase increase the number of d4s you add to your weapon damage, Strength checks and Strength saving throws by 1; total 3d4 at Gargantuan size. If you are Gargantuan size at the end of your turn, the DC to maintain your size becomes 17; failure causes you to shrink back to Large size and you cannot use this feature again until the end of your next turn.
