Your absolute dedication is in the blade. You are part of the edge and the edge is part of you. Now the only question remaining is how will you use the blade.
Blade Fighting Style
Your knowledge of the blade allows you to wield them in many different ways.
Choose one of the 3 Blade Fighting Styles.
Heavy Blade Style
You have mastered the art of the Heavy Blade. When wielding a martial weapon that deals slashing damage and has the Heavy and Two-handed properties you gain the following benefits:
Dancing Wind: After making an attack you can use a bonus action and attempt to harm all creatures within 5ft. of you. If the attack would hit creatures within 5ft. of you they take the same amount of damage as the first target.
Deflecting Breeze: You can use your reaction to reduce incoming damage equal to your Proficiency Bonus
Sole Blade Style
Your concentration has been gathered inside the soul of a singular blade. Wielding only 1 simple or martial weapon with the Versatile or Light properties grants the following benefits:
Speed over Power: You can use your Dexterity Modifier for attack and damage rolls. Moreover, as a reaction you can impose disadvantage on opportunity attacks until the end of your turn.
Lonely Focus: You can use a bonus action to focus on one target. When attacked by them you have a +1 AC and +1 on attack rolls when attacking them.
Twin-Blade Style
You can balance two blades at the same time with equal mastery. When you choose this Style you gain the following:
Perfect Balance: You gain the Dual Wielder Feat.
Cleaving Mirror: You can use your reaction to perform two simultaneous attacks with both blades as an action. This special attack requires 1 attack roll but applies damage as if it were two seperate attacks when it hits.
Trained Among Swords
Starting at 7th level, you gain resistance to slashing damage and you have advantage on intelligence checks regarding weapons.
If you spend at least 1 minute observing or interacting with another weapon outside combat you can learn one of the following:
- Damage
- Rarity
- 1 Property
Blade Dance
At 10th level, you can choose 1 Blade Dance from the following:
Mirage Blades: 2 Reflections of the blade of your weapon appear next to it. You can use yor reaction to add 1 additional damage die for one attack. You also gain advantage on Initiative rolls.
Stargazer Eye: You close your eyes and let the Eye of the Stargazer guide you. You gain a blindsight of 30 ft. and you can take the Dodge Action as a Bonus Action.
Serene Illusion: You move with incredible serenity bending the reflections of light on your body. You can cast Mirror Image as a Bonus Action.
The Blade Dance lasts for 1 minute unless you fall uncocsious or you die. You can choose a different Blade Dance when you level up.
Mirage Blades
2 Reflections of the blade of your weapon appear next to it. You can use yor reaction to add 1 additional damage die for 1 attack. You also gain advantage on initiative rolls
Serene Illusion
You move with incredible serenity bending the reflections of light on your body. You can cast Mirror Image as a Bonus Action.
Stargazer Eye
You close your eyes and let the Eye of the Stargazer guide you. You gain a blindsight of 30 ft. and you can take the Dodge Action as a Bonus Action.
Ultimate Style
Starting at 15th level, Your Blade Fighting Style is improved and perfected.
Lone Blade Style
Your whole being has been gathered inside the soul of a singular blade.
Song of the Wolf: Once per turn, when you miss an attack against a creature your blade can ring loudly against the air. every creature within 5ft. must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + DEX + CON). On a failed save, they take 1d12 thunder damage and they are deafend until the end of your next turn.
Majestic Blade Style
You have perfected the art of the Heavy Blade.
Heavy Slash: Once per turn when you hit a creature with a weapon with the Heavy property you can force it to make a Strength Saving throw (DC = 8 + STR + CON). On a failed save it falls prone. Huge and Gargantuan creatures are immune to this effect.
Three-Blade Style
You can balance two blades at the same time with total perfection. You can now hold an additional blade with your mouth.
Flawless Position: You cannot be disarmed and whenever another creature attacks you with a melee attack you can harm it with your third blade. The creature takes damage equal to half the max damage of the weapons die even if the attack misses.
Archkeeper
At 18th level, you kept the blade close to you and grew along with it. A bond that cannot be tethered.
- You can use all Blade Dances once per short rest each.
- While holding at least one blade you cannot be surprised and you have advantage on Perception and Dexterity saving throws
