Base Class: Druid
You are more adept at shapeshifting than other druids, learning more spells relating to changing shape and getting access to more versatile ways to use your Wild Shape.
Fluid Form
Starting at 2nd level, you become attuned to your wild shape feature. While in a beast shape, you can use your reaction to change your form as detailed in Wild Shape. When you do so, you do not spend a use of that feature. Your new form's hit points are equal to the remaining hit points of your current form, or the new form's hit point maximum, whichever is lower.
Circle Spells
Your bond to shapechanging magic grants you access to certain spells. At 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th level you gain access to the spells listed for that level in the Circle of the Shapeless Spells table.
Once you gain access to one of these spells, you always have it prepared, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. If you gain access to a spell that doesn’t appear on the druid spell list, the spell is nonetheless a druid spell for you.
Circle of the Shapeless Spells
| Druid Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 3rd | alter self, mirror image |
| 5th | gaseous form, meld into stone |
| 7th | polymorph, stoneskin |
| 9th | seeming, modify memory |
Additional Forms
At 6th level, you learn to exert more control over your Wild Shaping ability. You now have 3 uses of the feature per short rest, instead of two. This goes up to 4 at 17th level.
Elemental Forms
At 10th level, you gain the ability to tap into elemental magic. Whenever you use your Wild Shape feature, you may choose an elemental form instead, following the restrictions outlined below.
Elemental Forms
| DRUID LEVEL | Max CR | Limitations |
|---|---|---|
| 10th | 4 | No equipment, Medium or smaller |
| 12th | 4 | No equipment |
| 14th | 5 | No equipment |
Elemental Forms Improvement
Your Elemental Forms feature improves as detailed in the Elemental Forms table.
I had to add this feature because of how homebrew subclasses work on dndbeyond.
