Base Class: Paladin
These holy warriors value one thing above all else. The truth. They are often tasked as being jurors, judges, lawyers, and other law enforcement for those nearby their temples and grounds.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed in the Oath of Veracity table. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how oath spells work.

Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Virtuous Honesty. As an action, you may cast zone of truth without using any spell slots.
Second guess. As a bonus action, you can reroll an insight check used to determine if someone/something is lying.
Aura of Truth
Starting at 7th level, you fill nearby creatures with a compulsion to reveal the truth, and loosen their mental fortitude. While you’re not incapacitated, creatures within 10 feet of you have disadvantage on all Wisdom saving throws. This does not include spellcasting.
When you reach 18th level in this class, the aura affects creatures within 30 feet of you.
Virtuous Grapple
At 15th level, you can call on the forces of justice and compulsion as a reaction whenever a creature moves into or out of your reach. The creature takes 3d4 psychic damage and must succeed on a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC or be charmed.
Guardian of Truth
At 20th level, you learn to channel the overwhelming need for justice in the world to gain the following benefits for 1 minute:
- You have advantage on all persuasion, intimidation, and performance checks.
- If you are within 5 feet of a creature and no other creatures are within 5 feet of you, you have advantage on spells cast against that creature.
- Anyone within 30 feet of you that you can see or hear immediately fails any deception check they make, but you immediately fail any deception check you make as well.
- You have advantage on Constitution checks and Constitution saving throws against effects you can see.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
