Base Class: Barbarian
Those that walk the Path of the Temporal Ravager are dunamantic warriors that harness their power over the flow of time. Perhaps you were exposed to a powerful and not yet entirely understood magical experiment, or you have made some sort of pact with an entity for which time isn't a factor and you are one of its harbingers, or maybe you are a trained and disciplined warrior from an organization that utilizes chronurgy magic, such as the Kryn Dynasty in Exandria.
Time Fissures
Beginning when you first choose this path at 3rd level, you can create time fissures with the power of your wrath. As a bonus action on your turn, you can create time fissures within 60 feet of you, up to a number equal to your Constitution modifier.
Time fissures are medium objects, faintly floating cracks in space that occupy a 5 foot cube. They do not obstruct line of sight or movement, and they are clearly visible. Whenever a creature other than you enters the space of a time fissure or starts its turn in one, it must make a Constitution saving throw (DC= 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier). On a failure, the creature becomes frozen in time until the end of their turn. A creature frozen in time is paralyzed and is immune to all damage and conditions. Any conditions or effects that they had been subjected to resume once they stop being frozen in time.
A time fissure immediately dissapears once a creature has been forced to make a saving throw from it, 1 minute has passed, you use this feature again, or until you dismiss all your time fissures (no action required). You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Timeless Body
Also at 3rd level, you have mastered your own time and can control processes which would cause you to decay. You gain resistance to necrotic damage, you no longer age, and, as a bonus action on your turn, you can change your appearance to that of an older or younger version of yourself. Your size cannot be changed in this way.
Prescient Defense
Starting at 6th level, you receive glimpses of the future when one would deal harm to you. As a reaction when you are targeted by an attack, you can impose disadvantage on the attack roll and immediately move yourself to where you were at the start of your previous turn. If you are now behind total cover from the triggering attack, the creature may spend that attack against a different target.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Shatter Time
At 10th level, you can cause your time fissure to burst and rip those around them from their current time. As an attack or an Action, you can destroy all of your time fissures, forcing each creature within 10 feet of one of them to succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC= 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier), as they try to escape the sucking force of the cracked fissure. On a failure, a creature takes necrotic damage equal to your Barbarian level + your Constitution modifier, it is magically aged by 2 years, and you can impose one of the following effects:
- The creature's speed is halved until the end of its next turn.
- The creature cannot take reactions until the end of its next turn
- The creature is frozen in time, as described in your Time Fissures feature.
On a succesful save, the creature takes the damage and suffers no further effects. Creatures can only be affected by one of this fissures at a time, making only one saving throw. You can use this feature once, regaining the ability to use it again when you finish a short rest.
Chronal Reaver
By the time you've reached 14th level, you can enter a state of temporal chaos. As an action or Attack, you can enter such a state, and for 1 minute, you gain the following benefits:
- Once per turn when you hit a creature with an attack, you may force them to make a Constitution saving throw (DC= 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier). On a failed save, they take necrotic damage equal to your level and are magically deaged by 6 months.
- As a bonus action on your turn, you may temporarily move forward in time, as you move up to half your speed in any direction, without provoking opportunity attacks.
- At the end of your turn, you may temporarily move backwards in time. All effects and damage you caused are undone, you regain your reaction, and you return to the space you occupied at the end of your turn. You may retake your actions, movement and bonus actions. You can use this feature once, gaining the ability to use it again when you finish a short rest.
- At the beginning of your turn, if you have less than your maximum hit points, you gain temporary hit points equal to half your barbarian level.
You can use this feature twice, regaining the ability to use it again when you finish a long rest.
