Base Class: Sorcerer
The features presented here replace the Lunar Sorcery features in Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen.
Lunar Embodiment
1st-Level Lunar Sorcery Feature
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Lunar Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know. Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the
same level. The new spell must be a divination or illusion spell from the druid, sorcerer, or wizard spell
| Lunar Spells | Spell |
|---|---|
| 1st | detect magic,guiding bolt |
| 3rd | augury,moonbeam |
| 5th | clairvoyance,dispel magic |
| 7th | greater invisibility,hallucinatory Terrain |
| 9th | dream,telepathic bond |
Further, the phases of the lunar cycle grants you a measure of foresight, allowing you to cast a sorcerer spell as a ritual if that spell is a divination spell, if it has the ritual tag, and you know it
Moon Fire
1st-Level Lunar Sorcery Feature
You can call down the radiant light of the moon on command. You learn the sacred flame spell, which doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer cantrips you know. You can cast the spell as a streaking mote of starlight, allowing you to cast it as a ranged spell attack which also ignores half and three-quarters cover. On a hit, you can add your Charisma modifier to it’s damage.
Cosmic Apotelesma
6th-Level Lunar Sorcery Feature
When you cast a divination spell as a ritual, you regain half of your total sorcery points. Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
Waxing and Waning
6th-Level Lunar Sorcery Feature
As a bonus action, you can spend 1 sorcery point to enter a lunar phase of your choice, granting you the corresponding
benefit until you use this feature again:
Full Moon. You shed moonlight, creating bright light in a 15-foot radius and dim light for an additional 15 feet. You can use a bonus action on each of your turns to douse the light or shed it again.
New Moon. When you cast a spell as a ranged spell attack, you can make a separate attack roll for each of the spell’s damage dice, directing the attacks at the same target or at different ones.
Crescent Moon. When you cast a spell of 1st-level or higher, you can roll 1d6 and regain that many hit points.
.
Lunar Empowerment
14th-Level Lunar Sorcery Feature
The power of your lunar phase saturates your being, granting you the following benefit while you are in the associated lunar
phase:
Full Moon. The radius of the bright and dim light you shed in-creases by an additional 15 feet. Any shapechangers that enter the light for the first time or start its turn there must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, the creature instantly reverts to its original form and can’t assume a different form until it leaves the light.
New Moon. You have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks. In addition, while you are entirely in darkness, attack rolls
have disadvantage against you.
Crescent Moon. You have resistance to necrotic and radiant damage.
