Base Class: Warlock
The Royalguard Style emphasizes minimization and countering of enemy attacks and uses defensive strategy to overcome their foes.
Devil's Arsenal: Royalguard
Royalguard Defense
You gain a permanent +1 to AC
Devil Bringer
At 1st level, as a bonus action you can use your Devil Bringer. Any target within 15 feet of you that you have line of sight of and isn’t behind cover must succeed on an opposed grapple check or be pulled next to you. You can pull any target whose weight is less than or equal to your lift capacity that isn’t bolted down. For any target that is either bolted down or above your lift capacity, you are pulled to it instead. Devil Bringer can also be used to modify certain abilities.
Devil’s Due
At 1st level, your ferocity increases as the danger arises. Whenever you are adjacent to two or more enemies, your damage dice increases by 1d6 against every creature within 5 feet of you. If there is only one creature left standing, you can focus your Devil’s Due on the remaining target.
Air Hike
At 1st level, whenever you use the jump action, you can perform a second jump on the same action. Jumping in this way allows you to exceed your normal jump distance, jump height, and change direction. The second jump uses the same result as your original roll, or you can choose to make a new roll and take the new result even if it’s lower. You are treated as having feather fall whenever using this ability.
The Royalguard Style also grants you Fiend spells as expanded spells, and immediate access to the Shield spell.

Shrug it Off
At 1st level, you gain the ability to ignore an amount of damage equal to your Constitution modifier times half your level as a reaction. You can use this ability once per short or long rest.
At 10th level, your Shrug it Off ability can ignore damage equal to your Constitution modifier times your level, retroactively increasing the amount of damage you can send back with Royal Guard.
Royal Guard
At 3rd level, whenever you use Shrug It Off, you can store the ignored damage as a charge for a number of rounds equal to your Charisma modifier. As a standard action, you can assume a defensive stance that lasts until the start of your next turn. The next time you are hit by a melee attack, you can use your reaction to release the damage back at the target. The target must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes the full brunt of the stored damage as force damage, and does not hit you.
Improved Royal Guard + Shield
At 10th level, your Shrug it Off ability gains a second use, and can now ignore damage equal to your Constitution modifier times your level, retroactively increasing the amount of damage you can send back with Royal Guard. You can also cast the Shield spell once without expending a spell slot.
Mastered Royal Guard
At 14th level, you can now use Shrug it Off thrice per short of long rest, increasing Royal Guard damage even further. In addition, your Royal Guard release does not require a save from your opponent, as it automatically succeeds.
