3rd level, way of the monkey king monks learn to emulate an inferior form of, the 72 forms technique, which allows you to tap into basic primal forms

Form of the land: you gain extra movement equal to 10×half your proficiency bonus rounded up.

Form of the sea: you gain a swim speed aswell as the ability to hold your breath for 5 minutes

Form of the sky: your jump distance doubles aswell as gain a fly speed equal to half your movement.

These are activated using 2 ki points and bonus action and last 5 minutes.

Note these can be used in and out of combat.

Starting at 6th level you can perform a ritual on your quarter staff bonding it to yourself and gaining the following benefits:

Once you have bonded with a quarter staff you can't be disarmed of it unless you are incapacitated.

Additionally once you have bonded with a quarter staff it scales with your martial arts die and all your attacks can be done with it including flurry of blows. Your quarter staff gain a extra 5ft to its attack range for a total range of 10ft.

 

Ruyi Jingu Bang expand

Starting at 6th level and having a bonded quarter staff you can manipulate the size of it for devastating attacks.

You may as a full action throw your quarter staff up to 40ft away and have it expand into a 10ft wide 50ft high cylinder, each creature within the radius must make a dexterity saving throw or take three rolls of your martial arts die force damage half as much on a successful save, after the attack you quarter staff returns to your hand in its normal size

This can be done 3 times per short rest.

At 11th level the damage increases to five rolls of your martial arts die and the radius increases to a 30ft wide 80ft cylinder.

Improved forms

Starting at 11th level depending on what form you have active you can gain extra bonuses depending on what form you have active additionally the cost of the forms have increased to 4 ki points.

Form of the land: you gain a burrow speed aswell as dealing extra force damage equal to your wisdom modifier.

Form of the sea: you gain the ability to fully breath underwater aswell as dealing extra cold equal to your wisdom modifier.

Form of the sky: you gain a full fly speed aswell as dealing extra lighting damage equal to your wisdom modifier.

Form of enlightenment

Starting at 17th level you gain the following benefits:

-Your bonded staff has a range of 20ft now.

-You can combine all your previous forms into one avatar of enlightenment, to do so you must spend 5 ki and this form only lasts for one minute, the duration can be extended by 1 for every 2 ki points you spend extra.

Note: the extra damages don't stack from improved forms you pick one when you activate it.

-Your Dexterity and wisdom increase by 4 for a new maximum of 24.

-You can do 3 attacks within flurry of blows now
