Bard
Base Class: Bard

Members who graduate from the school of perfomative arts are skilled not only in theatrical performance and dance, but also in combat. Many who travel the world are proficient with exotic weapons such as the chakram or with sabres. Their flourishing style is both beautiful and deadly.

Closed Position

Starting at 6th level, you can expend a bardic inspiration die and designate a party member within 20 ft of you as your dance partner. As a result, beneficial magics and abilities are shared between both of you for up to one minute as if you were concentration on a spell.

Esprit

When you join the College of Performing Arts at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with light armor and one exotic weapon of your choice.

If you’re proficient with a simple or martial melee weapon, you can use it as a spellcasting focus for your bard spells.

Standard Step

By studying the art of performance, you have memorized by rote the standard steps of the traditional dance. When you choose this subclass at level 3, you gain the ability to use the action Standard Finish.

Fourfold Fantasy

At 3rd level, you learn to perform impressive displays of martial prowess and speed.

Whenever you take the Attack action on your turn, You can dash to a friendly creature you can see within 20 feet. If a weapon attack hits, you can use one the following once per turn.

Shield Samba. You can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration and grant temporary hit points equal to the number you roll on the die to one ally who can see you. You also add the number to your AC until the start of your next turn.

Sabre Dance. You can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to deal extra damage equal to the number you roll on the die to the target you hit and to any other creature within 5 ft. of you.
