Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

There are many who would take up the paladin's vow in order to smite evil. But as they march off to war clad in holy plate armour, there are those with the same goal in mind that stalk the shadows around them. Armed with stealth and all the radiant power given to their armoured compatriots, they act as holy assassins, shining blades in the dark that strike quickly and leave behind only a smouldering pile of smitten undead and demons.

The style of the raven's shadow was developed after one legendary rogue killed an ascendant god as part of a deal to his patron; the raven queen. His sacrifice inspired many to walk in his shoes and those once unworthy of the oaths and sacraments, were given a chance to partake in the war against evil that threatens all of mortality.

Enshadowed Mind

Starting at 13th level, your mind becomes an impenetrable darkness. You gain advantage on stealth checks in darkness or dim light.

Additionally, you gain immunity to the charmed and frightened condition.

Shadow Shank

Starting at 17th level, Whenever you make an attack roll, you may choose to attack the target of the attacks shadow instead of them provided they are casting a shadow. The target's shadow has the same AC as the target. On a hit, the target takes no damage, but the target is restrained as long as the weapon or ammunition used to make the attack roll remains in the targets shadow. As an action, the target can attempt a Strength ( Athletics ) or Dexterity ( Acrobatics ) check to pull its shadow free (DC 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus).
