Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Gods of fury preside over the spheres of anger, desolation, fire, retribution, vengeance, and wrath. To these gods, there is no greater fury than that of the divine, and as such instill into their followers the courage and strength to punish wrongdoers, to take revenge on those who have brought suffering down upon them, and to know no fear in the heat of battle.

Many clerics of this domain are members of religions where warriors and Barbarians are plenty among its members. They often perform sacrifices and rituals meant to bring about one's rage and harness one's burning fury.

Domain Spells

You gain domain spells at the cleric levels listed in the Fury Domain Spells table. See the Divine Domain class feature for how domain spells work.

Bonus Proficiencies

Also at 1st level, you gain proficiency with martial weapons and heavy armor.

Quick Revenge

At 1st level, your fury is swift with retribution.

When a creature hits you with a melee attack while within your weapon's reach, you can use your reaction to make one melee weapon attack against the target, with advantage. If you reduce the attacker to 0 hit points with this attack, you take only half the damage dealt to you by the triggering attack.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum once), and regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Channel Divinity - Onslaught

At 2nd level, you can strike with a fury-filled flurry of blows.

When you hit a creature with a melee attack, you can expend a use of your Channel Divinity to make one additional melee attack against the same target. If the second attack results in a critical hit, you can make one additional attack against the same target as part of the same action.

Wrathmonger

At 6th level, your fury has reached new bounds. You gain the following benefits:

  • You have advantage on saving throws you make against being Frightened.
  • When you roll initiative, and have no uses of your Quick Revenge feature remaining, you regain one use.
  • Your furious retribution knows no bounds. In combat, you gain a special reaction that you can take once on every creature's turn, except your own turn. You can use this special reaction only to use your Quick Revenge feature.

Divine Strike

At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with burning power. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 fire damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.

Anger of Saints

By 17th level, anger is always with you, as if hanging from your neck.

You have advantage on all melee attack rolls.
